The imperials are camped out on the other side of this lake. Holy wow, there's a TON of 'em! It's gonna be tough for just the two of us to keep the village safe from that many dudes... I suppose the best plan is to get over to the other side of the lake and, like, ambush 'em, but it's gonna take forever. Oh! I have an idea. For realsies?!

Eeee! I am totally gonna cry right now! You'll "totally" tip us over if you don't calm down. Sorry, but I'm too excited to sit down! I'm in a BOAT on a LAKE and it's the most beautiful thing EVEEEER! Also, I had no idea you knew how to drive a boat. Mad respect, girl. That's rad. There's nothing "rad" about it. Yes there IS! You're awesomesauce! Whatever. My dad was in the navy, so I know all about boats. I wish I could forget, but...I can't. Anyway, that's why I know how to pilot a boat. The end. You dad, huh... It's great that you keep your memories so close to you. Stop complimenting me— especially about that! I'd give anything to get rid of my memories. They're like...rain. Huh? I don't get it. ...Never mind. Hmm... Oh, hey, I've got an idea! Here, check this out. Is that a picture of a desert? Yeah, it's a desert way down south. Guess you could sorta call it my hometown or whatever. It's got a lake in the middle. Yep! Although when you have water in a desert, it's actually called an oasis. It's...pretty. Ohmigosh, right? This is the prettiest oasis I've ever seen in my LIFE. But now it's all gone. What happened? That's just how deserts roll. If you get a long dry spell, an oasis can dry up—or a sandstorm can come along and bury it. My family was always moving from place to place 'cause we had to follow the water. Each time an oasis dried up, I'd have to pack everything up and leave all my friends and stuff behind. ...Sounds hard. Yeah, I was pretty lonely, honestly. But I still have this picture, which makes it all okay! I mean, all the stuff I felt when I looked at that oasis was real, which is why it's important for me to remember it. Does that, like, make sense? Oh! I mean, I know it's sad to think about stuff you've lost, but if you STOP thinking about it, that means it's gone for real. I miss my friends, but I don't wanna put 'em out of my mind and pretend they never existed, you know? So that's why I keep 'em in my heart! That's the best way to keep stuff safe— It's like a bank vault for your feelings! But I need MORE good memories to stuff in the vault, which is why I'm always tryin' to search out fun stuff. More memories, huh? You know it! And lemme tell ya, girl, you and me on this boat right now is gonna be a MEGA-treasured memory. That's... That's brilliant. What, the sunset? Yeah, it IS pretty great. You wanna change spots so you can get a better view or whatever? No. YOU. The memories inside your heart are like a little sun of their own. That's why the pictures you take shine so beautifully... Hold the quill. Are you, like, COMPLIMENTING me? ...... You ARE! Aaah ha ha ha! Ohmigosh, that makes my YEAR. I don't get many compliments on my pictures, honestly. Oh man, now this memory is even MORE mega-special. Time to make some extra room in my vault!
