Summary

One map led the party to a cave blocked by a large boulder. After moving it aside, they discover a dragon named Erasmus who has secreted himself away inside.

This island is simply crawling with fiends! With this many, the people of the island are bound to be attacked sooner or— EEEEEK! As if called from your very thoughts! C'mon, Estelle! Let's save 'em! Please, you MUST do some scrying! Everyone, please calm down! I expected to locate a fiend attack here, but instead we find this poor woman surrounded by some mad crowd! Are you all right, miss?! Euden! Help me! Wait, Verica?! I thought you were coming here to do some fortune-telling! That was the plan, but I can't possibly hope to do so with this horde of people crushing in on me! Hold on! We're here to help! Hooligans who spit in the face of public decency are MY problem. You lot there! Form a line, right now! That's right, you too! One behind the other! You really whipped 'em into shape... That's the neatest line I've ever seen! Well, this IS pretty much her specialty. Whew! Th-thank you. Heavens! Well, I think we know why her divination services are in such high demand at present. Aha, well... In any case, I should be able to focus on my scrying now, so thank you. Happy to help. However, with you two lending sweat and tears to the cause, we will surely emerge victorious! Is this really a question of winning or losing? Of COURSE it is! If I cannot even complete one simple task, how can I possibly continue to call myself a knight's armsmaster?! That remains unchanged even during a treasure hunt! If X marks a spot, I WILL arrive at said spot! She's been like this all damn day. The more traps she busted through, the more it lit a fire under her. Then there are traps here as well... Siren, however, is ever bewitching sailors and causing their ships to be dashed upon the rocks—thereby undoing all of my good works. No matter how much I warn her from it, she refuses to silence her song. Then there are TWO dragons here? That would be the proper math, yes. Now then, if I may, how did you figure out the trick to opening my cave? If by trick ya mean throwin' out my achin' back, then yeah, we got it. Then you did NOT use the secret button to roll the boulder aside? You actually forced it away using sheer physical strength? THERE WAS A MAGIC MOVER SWITCH THIS WHOLE TIME?! You are skilled indeed to have fashioned such a clever device, dragon. Ah, but I was not the switch's creator. That credit goes to an adventurer by the name of Simon. Is Simon around here somewhere? He lived with me for some time, but alas, his moment in this world came to an end. Such fleeting lives your kind have... I'm sorry to hear that. Graaaargh! More of Barbary's stubborn minions?
