Summary

Fiends show up and attack Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing as they target Mei Hou Wang. The pair reconciles with him when he saves their lives, but then Xuan Zang arrives and bars the way of the prince and his friends.

Yeah, but she DID tell us, and I quote, "We can't simply leave Mei Hou Wang be." Which is clearly a nice way of saying, "Give him the ol' dirt nap, will you?" That is NOT what that means at ALL! Wait, so are you saying this guy is the fiend that was sealed in the Jin Gu Er? Look, I don't know the details other than he's a fiend and we're gonna crush him. Got it? Good. Let's get to work. But you don't even know what he's like! Fiend or not, Mei Hou Wang is a decent person. He's not going to do anything bad! Wu Kong, you... I thought all these folks were nuts when they kept talkin' about you being nice, but maybe they were right. I've never heard of a fiend who concerned itself with protecting a life, and yet, that seems to be what we have here. Great! Then we're agreed! The wife always says not to repay a good deed with a bad one. That said, the real problem's gonna be Xuan Zang—she's stubborn as hell. Oh, it's fine.
