Dialogue

(I want to change—and I totally want EVERYONE to hear my song! 'Cause I realized something that day...) We need you to sing for us so Barbary lowers her defenses. Will you help? (It made me SUPER happy to be needed, and even happier to be asked to sing! I know people are afraid of my song, but I don't wanna give up on it! I wanna sing in front of everyone on a stage where dreams happen! I want to make them happy!) With help from the songstress dragon Siren, the great fiend Barbary was defeated. In exchange for her help, Siren asked the prince to build her a stage fit for a concert.

Could the bewitching song of Siren,

feared for causing shipwrecks,

truly become a source of delight?

♪ ♪ ♪ That music... It's Siren, all right! Man, no matter how many times I hear it, I still can't get over how beautiful her voice is. One can certainly get lost in that song. Just look how little work is getting accomplished at the moment! Guess that's what folks mean when they say her voice can sink ships! That ain't nothin' but nasty talk! She'd never do a thing like that. Hopefully a successful concert can put such cruel slander to rest for good. Which is another reason we gotta build her a big ol' stage! We can decorate it with stuff from the sea! ...But only cute stuff. Not those gross fish with the lanterns and the jaws and all that. We'll have it done in no time if we all work together! Speaking of "all," where is Cleo? ...No. This is not happening. A stage costume is one thing, but strutting around in this swimsuit is another entirely. ...Pah. Enough dawdling. I must return to the others. Heya, Cleo! Where've you been? Er...I was searching for materials that we could use for the stage. Hey, nice! Find anything? Nothing helpful, no. Well, that's a downer. Good thing we found plenty over here on our end! I still don't think it's gonna be enough, but let's gather up what we have and head back to the castle. A fine idea. ...Hmm? What's this? Are you seeing something in your crystal ball, Verica? Indeed I am. It is a portent of hardship. Well, THAT don't sound good! Does it have to do with the stage? It is not that kind of hardship. (It's appearing over those two... What could be about to befall them?) Sounds like we've got plenty to mull over on our way back. All right, everyone, let's head back to the castle and see where we stand. That stage won't build itself!
