Yes, I actually am rather surprised you survived. Still, you always were a rather tenacious fellow. Yeah, well, maybe fighting against your weapons built me up. Fighting *against*? Weren't you allies? We used to be allies...but we also used to be enemies too. Two peas in a pod are we! Or two greasy melons in a sack, perhaps. Anyway, it's all because we hail from the same area. I don't follow. To put it bluntly, Sha Wujing betrayed our hometown. What?! Why would you do that?! So I could develop weapons, of course! Why else does a fellow do anything? Our home was in a poor, remote part of Taiwu—a real fetid smear of a place. Ten or so years ago, a famine struck—and in the hour of their people's greatest need, our rulers sat about and did nothing. Dissatisfaction toward the dynasty erupted like goo from a pore, and the people of remote regions such as ours rose up. So it was rebellion. Sure was. Surprise gave us the upper hand at first, but eventually the ruling class got itself together and pushed us back. Still, we were fighting 'em tooth and nail, and might have had a chance...until Sha Wujing went and ruined it all! And why must I remain on a sinking raft? Developing weapons for the dynasty was DELIGHTFUL! Their funding and technology was far beyond anything I could find in the backwater regions! See? He doesn't even feel guilty. If I were you, Highness, I'd sleep with one eye open. Your new friend here will happily stick a knife in your back and smile while he does it. Sure, you're all buddy-buddy now, but one of these days he'll get some crackpot idea and decide he needs to test it out on you. And that's when— AAAAAAAH! That was Luca! Hee hee hee! Don't tell me YOU'RE responsible for this, you half-mad dastard! Dear me, it sounds like one of your castle-mates has found another of my weapons. Terrible shame if so, because we're surely too late to help. ENOUGH! This time, you PAY! He can pay later, Zhu Bajie! Right now, we need to see what happened!

I have returned. And it seems... Xuan Zang! *sigh* I can't believe the two of you followed me all the way here. But of course! It is our most earnest wish to accompany you, Master Xuan Zang! I'll follow you to the ends of the earth or the middle of an enemy camp to repay everything I owe you! While I...appreciate the sentiment, I have no intentions of allowing outsiders to accompany me. I suggest you give up and accept it. Now if you'll pardon me? X-Xuan Zang?! Aw, c'mon! She oughta let you join up! A lively trip is way more fun, yeah? Heavens above and worms below! You're Qilin! Might you also have a relic with you, perchance? Huh? You're into relics? Oh man, that is a piece of good news! I got relics comin' out the... Well, I got a whole lotta relics. I would be MOST delighted to witness it with my own eyes! Very well—but ONLY with your eyes! Are we perfectly clear on this? This relic... It is... It is so... I MUST DISASSEMBLE IT! All right, that's it. I'm sealing it away. Noooooo! Honestly, how many times do we have to go over this? Only sealers should be handling relics. And though you are my travel companions, this prescript still applies to you. Now, let us return to the Halidom. I hope you will join me on my next quest. You bet! It's my dream in life to repay my debt to you, after all! And what of me, hmmmmMMMM? Am I to be left in some tedious limbo? Hmph! In that case, it seems I have no other alternative...
