• Marth is not a Dragalia Lost original character. He originates from Intelligent Systems' Fire Emblem video game franchise, first appearing in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, and also appears as a summonable Hero in the mobile game of the same franchise, Fire Emblem Heroes.
• Unlike most Adventurers, Marth does not say the names of his skills when he uses them. Instead, he says "My prayers are with you" when using Flickering Flames and "I must end you" when using Fire Emblem. He shares this trait with the other Fire Emblem Heroes collab characters: Alfonse, Veronica, Fjorm, Sharena, Peony, Chrom, and Tiki.
  • These quotes match two of his special trigger quotes in Fire Emblem Heroes.
• The HP recovery effect on Flickering Flames is likely a reference to the HP recovery effect granted by Falchion, Marth's signature sword in the Fire Emblem series.
• Marth's skill Fire Emblem shares its name with a special in Fire Emblem Heroes, and a critical story element in the Fire Emblem games where Marth's world appears. The skill shift II and III effect of boosting the team's strength is likely a reference to the special of the same name available on Marth's Legendary variant in Fire Emblem Heroes.
• The icon for Marth's Last Boost is styled after the Special skill icon from Fire Emblem Heroes.
