Summary

Once the fiends are slain, the concert begins! After Cleo gives Siren a handmade costume and wears a swimsuit in her role as a backup dancer, the show is an utter smash! In the end, Siren and Cleo conquer their fears and make a host of treasured summer memories.

Hyaaaah! Hrraargggh! Hwaaaah! Grrraaarrggghh... Goodness, what an exciting opening act! Er, that WAS an act...right? All right, folks! Now that we've warmed up the stage for her, it's time to put your hands together for...SIIIIIREN! She should be ready any minute now, so raise your voices and let her know that YOU'RE all ready, too! SI-REN! SI-REN! SI-REN! SI-REN! SI-REN! SI-REN!

Backstage

Everyone is calling my name... This is totally a dream. This is no dream, Siren—and it is your courage that made it real. Er, Verica? Why are you wearing that? Am I not your backup dancer? Or should I say...ONE of them? *ahem* Ohmigosh, Cleo, you look AMAZING! But wait, don't you totally hate swimsuits? I decided that I, too, desired change. And that there is nothing shameful about wearing swimsuits—or having fun. I had told myself that a prince's attendant needed to refrain from such things. But that was merely an excuse, and I knew that to be the case. So rather than declaring I could not do such things, I swore to be more true to myself—much like you are, in fact. I want to stand on that stage with you in this outfit and make a summer memory I will never forget. So...will you have me? Duh! Of COURSE I will, you dingus! Now let's get out there and make memories until we drop! Oh, and I have something for you... Ohmigosh, is this a COSTUME?! I thought you might want a stage outfit for your big moment. I know what this performance means to you, and I wanted to make something to recognize that. Although it is perfectly all right if this particular outfit is not your style. Cleooooo! I looooove it! C'mere and hug me, girl! Bwah! I wasn't really expecting a hug... If you two are done here, we have an entire audience that is waiting. Right! Lemme just get changed here... Okay, we're totes good to go. Let's do this, ladies! Everyone's waiting for me! Woo hoo! Let's make some noooooise! (This day has finally come. I'm...not alone anymore. So many nights spent alone... So many mornings crying... But now I feel like I love everything, and it's all 'cause I met you guys.) You look mega-cute, Siren! Your singin' is the best! (Now it's my turn to make YOU happy. Soooo hungry... *sniff* I'm good if ya laugh, cry, or eat, but ya gotta pick one, yeah? Heh. You should eat. Nothing beats barbecue after a hard night's work, right? Mmmmmmm... Hmm. Cleo seems to be missing again. I'll see if I can find her. ...... Ah, here you are. Oh, hello. Do you need something, Euden. I'm just looking for you, actually. Everyone's eating, and I thought you'd want to come join us. I am already full—or perhaps it is simply my heart that is full. Mind if I sit with you, then? Please. Well, it was a bit rough at times, but we managed to make that concert happen. What do you think? Did you enjoy it? Of course. Although the dancing part was difficult...and rather embarrassing. Well, you looked like a natural up there. It really was a new side of you! The swimsuit, you mean? N-no! That's not what I... Heh. A jest only, I assure you. In truth, I even surprised myself a bit with my boldness. I've been finding all sorts of reasons to avoid that sort of thing—claiming it was because I was an attendant and such. I always get timid at events like this. It's as if I am waiting for someone to tell me it is acceptable to enjoy myself. But watching Siren made me realize how wrong that mindset is. What I really wanted was to join in on the fun. That's what I've ALWAYS wanted. If I had simply put on the flashy clothes and danced and sung and laughed, I would have all sorts of happy memories. I don't want such regrets anymore. Sounds like you've taken a bold step. I'm glad to hear it. You're a serious person, Cleo, and maybe that's what causes you to hesitate... But whenever I see you smile, it makes me happier than you will ever know. So I hope you'll keep pushing yourself like you did tonight. It's okay to enjoy yourself. Really. Oh. I know those words...
