Summary

Mei Hou Wang's hostility to mortals leaves Xuan Zang no choice but to try and seal him, which saddens Wu Kong greatly. Zhu Bajie then tells him about living without regret, which causes the boy to redouble his efforts to change the situation.

Dialogue

Haaaaah! No... I am not yet finished... He clearly has no intention of surrendering quietly. And he ain't pullin' any punches, either— he really wants to see us dead! There is no other option... Uh, master? Why are you pickin' up the Jin Gu Er there? Though damaged, it can still be used. You're gonna seal him in it! Forgive me, Wu Kong. It must be done. O power universal. Crown of heaven! Take form thy halo and see evil bound! I know this relic... It is that hateful piece of trash that entrapped me before! This is UNFORGIVABLE! You mortals are naught but skittering, selfish insects! Mei Hou Waaaang! Is it done? Yes. Mei Hou Wang has been sealed inside the Jin Gu Er. I will apply a more powerful seal and return it safely to the cave once more. ...... Remember your duty, Wu Kong. Remember the path you have chosen. No matter what may come, you must see your duty done.

...Mmm. It took some time to mend the broken Jin Gu Er, but the seal is now complete once more. Then it seems this adventure is over— though I wish we had seen it through to a more pleasant conclusion. ...... Wu Kong... You gonna try and comfort him? No. I have no right to do so. That oughta give Wu Kong enough time to chat him up. An even sloppier strategy than I first anticipated! Oh, but you DO never fail to impress, old friend. I take it you're out, then?
