Summary

Sylvia returns to her true form, Harle beats a retreat, and the village is saved. However, the damage is great, and so Melsa stays behind to help with the reconstruction. As she and Sarisse say a tearful farewell, the prince says he hopes to see her back at the castle someday.

The tear in space is going to close! Hey, check it out! There's this gross smoky stuff coming out of it! It's the black mana that was controlling Hypnos! All of the copies in this world are disappearing! Which means we actually beat the REAL Hypnos in the space between worlds! Wh-what? I... Sylvia! You're back to normal! Back...to normal? Ah, I remember now. I was caught by the Empire and changed into a fiend through the use of black mana. And you were gracious enough to rescue me from that fate. You have my thanks. My, what an unexpected conclusion. You ACTUALLY defeated Hypnos! And yet, I now understand quite well, my dear Prince Euden... If I hope to end your life, I will need a fiend even more powerful than Hypnos! Please look forward to our next meeting. I know I will! Hey, those chumps are running away! We gotta chase 'em! We have more important things to attend to, Notte. We need to find out how badly the village has been damaged. Yeah, that Hypnos copy was making an absolute mess of things. There's smoke rising from all over the place, and the buildings look like they've been totally wrecked. Let's start by helping the wounded. We'll deal with the material concerns after that. At this point, getting the village back to the way it once was is our responsibility. This is where I'm going to live, after all.
