• Alfonse is not a Dragalia Lost original character. He originates from Intelligent Systems' Fire Emblem video game franchise and first appears in the mobile game of the same franchise, Fire Emblem Heroes.
• Alfonse is the first free event Adventurer to come at 5 Rarity. Previously, all free event Adventurers were 4 Rarity.
• Unlike most Adventurers, Alfonse does not say the names of his skills when he uses them. Instead, he says "I'll open the way!" when using Blue Radiance and "Above all, the mission!" when using Sol. He shares this trait with the other Fire Emblem Heroes collab characters: Veronica, Marth, Fjorm, Sharena, Peony, Chrom, and Tiki.
  • These quotes match two of his special trigger quotes in Fire Emblem Heroes.
• Alfonse's skill Sol shares its name with a special in Fire Emblem Heroes and an equippable skill in the Fire Emblem series as a whole. It carries over its effect of restoring the user's HP based on the damage it deals. Alfonse also has access to this special by default in Fire Emblem Heroes.
• The sword used in the icon for Alfonse's Last Burst is styled after the attack-related white sword icons in Fire Emblem Heroes, rather than the gold sword icon typically used for strength in Dragalia Lost.
• Alfonse having Curse Res may be a reference a story scene that was released in Fire Emblem Heroes on April 10, 2019, 16 days before his release in Dragalia Lost. In this scene, Alfonse is threatened with a deadly curse, but he outsmarts his foe and ends up not getting cursed at all.
• The symbols on the stone behind Alfonse in his portrait resemble the summoning pillar in Fire Emblem Heroes.
• Alfonse has a unique victory animation, where he will briefly pose with his sword pointed diagonally down to the right, in such a way to reference his attack art in Fire Emblem Heroes.
