Jeanne d'Arc is apathetic to Dragonyule until Mym gives her a dress. When she puts it on, she finally comes to understand the excitement of the season, at which point she promises to protect the holiday from any and all fiends.

Preparations are proceeding smoothly for those entrusted with the task of playing Saint Starfall. Some time later, Mym and Elisanne... My darling will hold a Dragonyule party! Ah, but it is such a lovely idea. Don't you agree, Elisanne? His Majesty is ever full of wonderful ideas. Transcending the barrier between cultures while sharing time together? It's so utterly romantic I could die! If only he'd show such audacity in our relationship... Ha haaaa...ha? My apologies for interrupting. Might I have a moment? Oh, Jeanne d'Arc! Have you come to mingle in our little romance as well? No. I've learned something about the fiends that attacked the village, and have come to make my report on the matter. Bah! Put aside such concerns and have a little fun with us for once. It is the Dragonyule season, after all! While it's true that Dragonyule is the topic du jour in the castle, it is a human affair. Such things have little to do with dragons like ourselves, no? My sweet darling is working his tush off so that species other than humans might enjoy themselves equally well. If I may, Jeanne, you say you've learned something about the fiends? Indeed I have. A number of eyewitness accounts speak of a treant that has bedecked its halls, so to speak, with fanciful Dragonyule decor. Why would a fiend decorate itself? It seems to be something of a showboat. What? It has, on past occasions, stolen village decorations, laid waste to flower beds in the nearby forest, and so forth. It has apparently made a habit of stealing beautiful things with which to adorn itself. Ugh. How terribly gauche! I'm in agreement. Regardless, it looks as though this treant leads the fiend horde. I could possibly overlook a sad, pathetic creature that only stole material things, but this fiend is stealing the happiness of the people as well! Indeed. I will continue to investigate this matter and report back if I learn anything of interest. Unforgivable. ...This is UNFORGIVABLE! Why are you LIKE this, Jeanne d'Arc?! I beg your pardon? Oh, don't you play dumb with me, girl! Even the fiends are adorning themselves in glimmering splendor and making merry, but YOU still refuse to even consider it!
