Summary

With even native dragons under attack from a ＂black dragon,＂ the prince's party hurries off to slay the Dreadking—but are ambushed by the monster instead! Luckily, Sarisse appears to save the day, allowing the prince's party to regroup and challenge the Dreadking anew.

*pant* *pant* That was quite the climb. Are we certain the Dreadking is up here? When we mapped out its attack sites, this mountain was at the center. At the very least, we can be certain it is part of the Dreadking's territory. This thing is so strong, it even takes on dragons... Two Days Earlier
The Sacred Drakewood
This was supposed to be a verdant forest watched over by a guardian dragon. Why are all the plants dying? Your Highness, this lumberjack has something you need to hear. Damn that beast! Damn it to hell! Dude, slow down! What beast? A strange dragon—black as night it was! It swooped in and attacked the dragon what looks out for these woods. One of our dragons was attacked? Attacked and taken! Carried off like a grim trophy, so he was! *sniff* I'll hear that damnable black dragon's roar in my dreams for the rest of time... That poor guy's been through a lot. Still, I don't get what's happenin' to all the plants and stuff. When the dragon that regulates the mana of a place disappears, the land perishes. But if the Dreadking keeps attackin' our native dragons, that means EVERYTHING is gonna die! That's why we're going to stop it. This is gonna be one hell of a fight. Still sure it was a good idea for you guys to tag along? I am well aware of the potential dangers. Nevertheless, I am intensely curious about the monster, and may be of assistance to you in this endeavor besides. And I owe you for saving my life!
