Hildegarde S+ Healer All She has a strong healing kit with a party-wide heal and a powerful combined shield+regen. 100% Skill Prep makes her skills available immediately, which is very important for healers who contribute mostly with skill usage and have long charge times on their S2 and weapon skills. While shields are finicky and often pop while blocking weak hits, they're perfectly capable of taking strong ones and preventing status ailments. Hildegarde's sustained healing output would eventually fall below that of Verica and Vixel, with their quickly charging potent regens exceeding any of Hildegarde's individual skills, but Hildegarde remains on top because the short average quest duration favors her fully prepped healing and utility kit.

Valentine's Hildegarde S+ Healer All Hildegarde has a strong healing and support kit thanks to her potent regen heal, shields, and energy stacks. She starts strong out of the gate thanks to her 100% Skill Prep, and can immediately start the fight with 3 energy stacks by using both abilities, so it’s reasonable for Hildegarde to energize the entire team even during shorter quests with no energy teammates. The total healing of her first skill is very high, but its charge time is below average at 7700 SP rather than the usual 5900SP for an S1 heal. Despite the slower charge time, it would take a very lengthy quest for other good healers to challenge Hildegarde’s healing output, because she starts with 100% Skill Prep and can eventually energize her own heals. The strength of shield skills are determined by the user’s HP rather than the recipient’s, so the value of shield skills is higher on healers like Hildegarde since they generally equip HP dragons to scale recovery potency. Her shields can also block ailments, but not the Dull and Delay Dragon debuffs from Zephyr’s attacks. Her shields lack the potency to block most incoming damage from High Midgardsormr, so she’s not better than Verica when it comes to defense, but her team energizes help with damage output.

Verica S Healer All Verica boasts very high healing output thanks to the potent regen heal on her S1, which has a fast charge rate compared to most regens. She also has an additional single target healing ability and access to a 3rd heal from the 4* flame wand on top of her recovery potency passives, leaving her only wanting for Skill Prep. Verica is usually picked for the healer role in High Midgardsormr thanks to her stun immunity and strong healing kit.

Lowen A+ Healer Mercury The best healing option available in wind. His kit is coherent and effective, but his healing output isn’t exceptional since he doesn’t have a regen skill. Very reminiscent of Cleo, but with a better S2 and slightly higher recovery potency. Interestingly, when he raises the team’s max HP, his healing on his S1 increases slightly to match.

Vixel A+ Healer All His kit lacks optimization, but his S1 regen is so powerful it single-handedly fills his niche better than several other light healers, as it heals nearly twice the total HP that a basic group heal would at the same charge rate. He has access to Skill Prep, which is convenient for any healer, but his only goes up to 50%. Since his S2 charges faster than his S1, he will always have it ready to boost his S1’s recovery potency. Its energy effect is worthless on a non-energy team, however.

Felicia A Healer Imperial Onslaught Felicia’s healing output is moderate, but she has access to shields to help mitigate damage, cleanse poison, and potentially block enemies from applying ailments. Shield skills perform notably better on healers, since the strength of shields are determined by the max health of the user, rather than the recipient. She has some poor passives between a half ailment resistance and the very niche Undead Res, but her 50% Skill Prep is welcome since a healer’s worth is mostly measured by skill activations.

Halloween Althemia A Healer Zodiark While her S1 is a standard party heal, her S2 is, oddly enough, an attack, and not a particularly useful one due to its low power and small AoE. Her 75% Skill Prep and curse immunity provide a solid enough shell for her to perform well enough regardless.

Cleo A Healer Jupiter
Void Battles
A basic healer with a party-wide heal, 75% Skill Prep, and a 20% defense buff. While not amazing, she has no particular problems with her kit and does her job. It helps that she has little competition within her element.

Ricardt A Healer All Having two heals instantly places Ricardt among the better healers. His S2 is a much-coveted regen and his 4* water staff grants him an emergency burst heal. However, he’s held back by a slowly charging S1, lack of Skill Prep, and a nearly useless passive in Full HP = Defense.

Estelle A Healer All Like Ricardt, having access to two heals puts her on par with many of the 4* healers. Her S1 charges faster than any other healer’s, but is only a single target burst heal. It’s great if one person in the quest is consistently taking more damage than the others, but less so otherwise, since it heals less overall than a distributed group heal. Her S2 is a very powerful regen, but it’s held back by its very slow charge time, which hurts since she doesn’t have a Skill Prep passive. Her extra force strike damage isn’t particularly good on a healer and her resistances are a mess.

Thaniel B Healer Void Battles If you have no other healers, he’s acceptable, but his healing output is unimpressive. His kit is geared towards handling burn-heavy content, which isn't a notably dangerous ailment outside of High Brunhilda, which isn't covered by the scope of this tier list. His lack of Skill Prep puts him below Cleo and other similar healers.

Edward B Healer Imperial Onslaught Edward’s healing output isn’t good and his shields lack potency, but he’s a usable choice for Light IO since his shields can block blind afflictions, which are a large threat considering the lack of blind immune adventurers currently available.

Hope C Healer None Hopelessly outclassed by every other light healer. His kit is at least dedicated to supporting allies, but he doesn’t do the job as well as others since he lacks tools like Skill Prep or regen heals.

Sophie C Healer Imperial Onslaught Her Recovery Potency skill helps her marginally, but her healing output remains low since she lacks multiple heals or Skill Prep. Her S2 contributes very little due to its low damage and range as well as its poor charge time. However, her freeze resistance makes her an okay pick for Water IO if nothing else.

Aurien C Healer
Attacker
None Aurien tries to be a hybrid healer/damage unit without doing either well. He has bad charge time, damage, and range on his S2, as well as a total lack of support for healing built into his kit.
