Xander S+ Attacker Imperial Onslaught The king of DPS among water units, boasting a powerful force strike-centric kit. His strength boosts from Striker’s Strength also boost Majestic Tide, allowing him to get absurdly strong in quests with a lot of enemies, such as Fire IO and Facility Events. Even without, the simple 1-2-force strike combo allows him to dish out far more damage than other swords, and chews through overdrive bars like butter. Additionally, he has access to 3 attack skills with the 5* water sword.

Dragonyule Cleo S+ Attacker Imperial Onslaught Dragonyule Cleo already does good damage thanks to High HP = 13% Strength, and she’ll make everyone in the room do a lot more thanks to her S1, which not only freezes enemies in place, but also applies strength and critical buffs in later stages to pile on huge damage. As an extra bonus, she’s also capable of stacking her own energy to max without the help of allies. However, she has to deal with slow skill animations, and daggers in general have poor DPS on their attack chain when compared to other close range weapons, but her ability to increase the whole team’s damage on a quickly charging skill compensates.

Lily S Attacker Brunhilda Lily comes out of the gate strong with 100% Skill Prep and has huge utility value thanks to how often she can freeze enemies with her S1. However, the skill animation of her S1 is painfully long to sit through, seriously cutting into her damage output, and the skill can miss on a moving target. Full HP = Strength brings extra damage to the table, but is hard to realistically maintain since the water element lacks strong healers. Her 5* wand has an attack skill with great AoE, as well as autotracking.

Elisanne S Support None Elly is a rare support character with an S1 buff, so its potency and charge time are much better than average, and it’s backed up by her buff time skill allowing for very frequent 19 second 20% strength buffs that contribute far more to overall team DPS than an attack skill would. She suffers from poor resistances, but makes the whole team far more powerful overall by maintaining uptime on her strength buff.

Karina S Attacker Imperial Onslaught She has a lot going for her, the incredible 5* water axe, multiple hard hitting attack skills, and 50% Skill Prep all come together to give her very high DPS among water characters. However, she can’t make anything out of her passive Healing Doublebuff without making some suboptimal choices. With the 4* water axe she can trigger it herself, or a team slot can be sacrificed to Thaniel, the only water unit with a team defense buff, who is otherwise profoundly mediocre.

Xainfried A+ Attacker Support Raid Dragon Claws and Dragon Time make Xainfried the most optimized character for raid style content thanks to the overwhelming Dragon Prep meta. Xainfried’s access to a 20% strength buff increases the DPS of the room significantly while active, but its charge time is quite slow, and his solo damage isn’t great without Dragon’s Claws since the animation speed on his S1 is also below average.

Orsem A+ Attacker Brunhilda He’s all about stacking crit rate with his HP 70 = Critical Rate and Flurry Devastation. As long as he can maintain both skills’ criteria, his DPS is fine despite the low damage of dagger’s regular attack chain, and he has additional value since he also has access to freeze on his S2.

Rex A+ Attacker Brunhilda Decent natural strength in addition to two hard hitting attack skills with quick animations, allowing him to maintain good DPS, but he lacks notable passive skills. Access to the 5* water axe is a huge perk, due to its huge strength and great damage skill.

Celliera A+ Attacker Brunhilda Her solid strength stat is backed up by her powerful S2 strength buff and her HP 70 = 8% Strength. While she has unoptimized passive abilities, her damage and ability to freeze won’t disappoint.

Dragonyule Xander A+ Attacker Support Imperial Onslaught His passive skills aren’t terribly useful, since 5% Skill Haste is not enough to secure an extra skill use in most quests, and trying to utilize Striker’s Energy is unwieldy and underwhelming. However, his natural strength is through the roof for a 4* unit and he has an excellent S1 that has a good chance to freeze. He also has a strength buff that would skyrocket his damage contribution if it weren’t for its terrible charge time and limited range to nearby allies.

Luther A Attacker Imperial Onslaught Striker’s Strength and stun resistance makes him particularly good at Fire IO, but his damage output isn’t enough to let him excel elsewhere.

Ricardt A Healer None Having two heals instantly places Ricardt among the better healers. His S2 is a much-coveted regen and his 4*T3 staff grants him an emergency burst heal. However, he’s held back by a slowly charging S1, lack of Skill Prep, and a nearly-useless passive in Full HP = Defense.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Jurota A Attacker Imperial Onslaught His strength is good for a 3* unit, but he lives in Celliera’s shadow, and his S2 awkwardly has same 25% strength boost but with half the duration. Regardless, Jurota adds additional damage through Broken Punisher and can hold his own.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Waike A Attacker Support Brunhilda His S2 can inflict bog, which massively increases the damage enemies take, but his chance to inflict bog is poor unless he has Full HP = Bog currently active. The damage potential of bog is high, but it’s difficult for Waike to inflict it often, and it’s redundant during break as any Leviathan in the room can proc bog with Tidal Wave.

Zardin A Attacker Brunhilda Zardin’s natural strength is hilariously low, and it’s unrealistic to maintain Full HP = Strength, but Zardin’s kit is hiding subtle advantages. His skill animations are blisteringly fast, notably his S2 ties for the fastest skill in the game at 0.9 seconds, which is even faster than buff skills, and over twice as fast as the average attack skill. Thanks to his amazing frame data, he gets to spend a lot of extra time attacking normally to deal damage and build up more skill activations. He also has access to a 3rd attack skill through the 5* water sword.

Thaniel B Healer None If you have no other healers, he’s acceptable, but no better. His kit is geared towards handling burn-heavy content, which is only relevant (and nigh-necessary) for High Brunhilda, which is not covered in the scope of this tier list. His lack of Skill Prep puts him below Cleo and similar healers.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Dragonyule Nefaria B Attacker Support Brunhilda Access to 25% Skill Damage gives Nefaria an extra punch, but she lacks damage skills to make better usage of it, and the 5* water bow does not have a damage skill like the 4* bow does. Her S2 takes forever to charge and the 15% shield and single energy stage it grants are underwhelming. Flurry Freezer sounds like a strong utility passive, but it’s held back because it’s chance to freeze is incredibly low, and bosses that can be frozen will roughly halve it’s chances to apply thanks to their natural resistance.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Pietro B Attacker None His S2 is an underwhelming shield and his blind res is irrelevant, but it’s at least possible to make use of his Critical Damage passive if he has Dragonyule Jeanne equipped. He also has access to a very good 5* weapon, which raises his ceiling potential.

Cibella D Support Imperial Onslaught The only character in the game with a shield as her S1. However, shields are inconsistently useful, and often broken by a minor hit rather than the large attacks you want them to block. With the 5* water lance, she can provide some healing to the team, but it’s a far smaller amount than a dedicated healer does, has an absurdly long charge time, and is limited to nearby allies. Her S2 is also weaker than average, which combined with her poor natural strength makes her the lowest DPS character of all non-healers, and she doesn’t provide enough defensively to compensate for this when a healer could have taken her spot instead.
