Lily | S+ | The first RoB character in Dragalia Lost. Lily is water's first real ranged DPS and she's living up to her name. Not only does she bring 2 nukes to the fight, she also freezes with her first ability. Combine this with her 100% Skill Prep, and you've got a unit who can freeze enemies right from the start of the fight. Her main downside is her first passive, Full HP= Str+15%, as she'd much rather have Skill Damage up like Maribelle. She also has no way of restoring her own HP and has to rely on teammates to do so in order to keep the passive up. |

Xander | S+ | If Xander were to go to any restaurant, he'd order Overdrive bars to eat. Seriously, he eats through these things really fast because of his combination of being a sword and having increase Force Strike damage. For the uninitiated, Sword units do 8x damage to Overdrive bars (not actual damage, just how fast the bar depletes) on Force Strikes. His first passive even rewards him for spamming Force Strike, and each stack of his first passive then boosts his 1st skill by 5%. Overall, Xander is a really solid sword unit who capitalizes on getting bosses to Break asap. |

Elisanne | S | Elisanne is the best buffer in Water, perhaps in the entire game. With her buff extension factored in, she can buff the entire party's Strength for 18 seconds. Not only that, the buff also charges really quickly: she needs about 3 full combos to fully charge it again. This means she can pretty much have a permanent uptime on the buff. On top of that, the 5* weapon can heal her teammates, albeit on a pretty long charge. However, her damage leaves much to be desired and she's plagued by the curse of being a free 4* unit. But, if you're looking for a good utility unit, Elisanne does the job. |

Xainfried | S | Xainfried's as close to a "jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none" unit as you're going to get in Water. He's got a stacking buff which increases his Strength whenever he transforms, as well as increased dragon time. He also has a team-wide 20% strength buff for utility, and his co-ability helps him tank. Unfortunately, he takes a while to get rolling due to having to charge the dragon meter, and there are better pure dps, tank or utility units. That said, if you don't mind the tradeoffs and want the complete package in one unit, Xainfried's your go-to. |

Karina | A+ | Where Elisanne is water's best buffer, Karina is pretty much Water's best tank/bruiser, sporting the 5th highest HPstat in the game. The 4* water axe is basically made for her, as it increases her defense by 25% and makes her regen her HPover the course of 15 seconds. It also buffs her first skill's damage by 5%. Unfortunately, the regen feels kinda low, maxing at 15% total on level 3 and it feels pretty slow. There also isn't a proper aggro system in game yet, so tanks have issues executing their niche properly. |

Thaniel | A+ | Having access to both a heal and a defense buff, Thaniel is a pretty solid healer to keep the team alive. The 4* water staff adds second healing skill to his arsenal, which is useful since he'd otherwise only have 1 healing skill. Would've preferred a Recovery Potency passive in place of his current Gauge Inhibitor passive, however. |

|
Orsem | A+ | High crit rates and access to Freeze, Orsem is a solid offensive unit with some utility to back it up. |

|
Celliera | A+ | Surprisingly high Strength stat for a free 4* unit, as well as access to a fairly strong steroid and freeze, Celliera is surprisingly good. However, she can't keep her third passive up by herself. Unfortunately, her first passive won't be very useful as the more challenging content has no Thaumians. Also has low HP making her very squishy. |

Ricardt | A | Ricardt is a healer who's more focused on pure healing compared to Thaniel. He's got 2 AoE team heals and the 4* staff gives him another single-target heal. However, he's held back by his passives doing pretty much nothing for him as well as his lower stats compared to Thaniel. |

Luther | A | Orsem but with Attack/Defense Reduction instead of Freeze, a lower Strength stat and a less reliable third passive. He's got a larger HP pool though, and his debuffs aren't resisted by any bosses. However, while his Attack reduction has a 90% hit rate, his Defense Reduction is only on 30% which makes it very unreliable. |

Cibella | B | Cibella's first skill is pretty decent utilitywise, providing a shield for the entire team. Her last recovery helps her survive longer, however can only activate once. She's a pretty decent tank and utility in one but lacks damage. |

Jurota | B | Jurota is basically a budget Celliera, having a Strength steroid just like her. However, his buff only lasts half as long. Broken Punisher is nice, but bosses don't stay in break for too long and usually break only once per fight. Being a 3* means he only gets 1 non-resist passive and he'd love to have a less situational passive. Quite decent but outclassed by Celliera. |

Waike | B | Waike's status effect is Bog. Bog's a pretty useful status effect since it increases damage taken. Unfortunately, his first passive is a bit disappointing. He also has a pretty low Strength stat, even for a 3* |

Rex | C | Decent damage dealer. His first passive is somewhat useful, but he would've liked something that gave him more damage instead. Outclassed by Jurota. |

Zardin | C | Labeled as a defense unit but his entire kit revolves around dealing damage, which means his Strength stat takes a hit: He has the lowest Strength stat in the game. At least the 4* weapon can help keep his passive up. |
