Weapons in Dragalia Lost have both a HP stat and a Strength stat that increases based on their level. These weapons can be equipped by characters to raise their HP and Strength.

By default a character uses a Level 0 weapon with 0 HP and 0 Strength, but weapons with stats can either be obtained as drops from quests, chests found during quests, or even stronger weapons can be crafted once the Smithy is unlocked after Chapter 2: 6-2.

Acquiring Weapons

  • 1 Icon Rarity 1.png Weapons are equipped to Adventurers by default.
  • 2 Icon Rarity 2.png Weapons drop from quests as rewards from chests and monsters.
  • 3 Icon Rarity 3.png Weapons are instantly available for crafting through the Smithy once it is unlocked in Halidom.
  • 4 Icon Rarity 4.png Weapons can be crafted once your Smithy has been raised to a minimum of level 4.
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Weapons can be crafted once your Smithy has been raised to a minimum of level 7.

Crafting and Enhancing

To obtain 3* or higher weapons, player must unlock the Smithy facility in Halidom. Each crafted weapon is linked to a weapon tree by weapon class and rarity (i.e. 4 Icon Rarity 4.png Sword tree). Weapons later in a weapon tree can be unlocked by upgrading the Smithy further in Halidom, and enhancing once of the previous weapons to its upgraded form in the Upgrade menu. In order to enhance, a weapon must be fully unbound and leveled. The final weapon in each branch of a weapon tree will have an element tied to it, shown by the color of the background of the weapon icon. If these weapons are equipped to an Adventurer of the same element, the weapon will grant an extra 50% of its base HP and Strength to the Adventurer.

Skills on weapons will improve a tier when a weapon is fully unbound through crafting.

Dismantling

The player can pay Rupees Icon Resource Rupies.png to revert a crafted weapon back into its base weapons and materials. The dismantle cost is based on the Star Level and Weapon Tier of the weapon in question. All weapons created from this process will be at Level 1 fully unbound. The only losses incurred from this process are Weapon Experience and Rupees; all crafting materials used to create the weapon are returned.

Dismantle Cost Icon Resource Rupies.png
Icon Rarity Row 3.png Icon Rarity Row 4.png Icon Rarity Row 5.png
Tier 1 1,000 8,000 125,000
Tier 2 5,000 40,000 625,000
Tier 3 30,000 240,000 3,750,000

Leveling weapons

Weapons can be leveled with either other weapons or by using Whetstones. Whetstones drop in a few story quests and can also be acquired in the daily Item roll. The most reliable source for Whetstones is The Imperial Onslaught, but these challenge quests only unlocks after Chapter 6 is cleared. Additionally, each day 3 Gold Whetstones can be purchased in the shop for 10,000 Icon Resource Rupies.png each.

Weapon Recommendations

  • 3 Icon Rarity 3.png Tier 3 weapons are recommended as a starting goal; however, it is NOT recommended to unbind them.
  • Instead of unbinding 3 Icon Rarity 3.png Tier 3 weapons, at this point, 4 Icon Rarity 4.png weapons should be craftable. Start working towards 4 Icon Rarity 4.png Tier 2 to replace the 3 Icon Rarity 3.png Tier 3 weapons.
  • While costly (320,000 rupies), 4 Icon Rarity 4.png elemental weapons do give a hefty boost on element, and is strongly recommended to have one crafted for main characters brought into co-op. However, do note that upon transformation, elemental weapons do lose ~40 Might. If near a Might threshold to unlock a higher level quest, consider holding off on upgrading. Additionally, 4 Icon Rarity 4.png elemental weapons may be worth the investment due to the fact that 5 Icon Rarity 5.png elemental weapons may not be easily accessible for some time.
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png weapons are currently time-gated by facility level 300, and additionally, it is not possible to progress past Tier 1 due to the materials not being currently farmable. Additionally, their stats are overall worse than 4 Icon Rarity 4.png elemental weapons and also lack the skills provided from 4 Icon Rarity 4.png Tier 2/Tier 3 weapons.
