Episode 1

A Believer in Destiny

Euden: Ranzal! Elly! Where are you?!

Euden: ...Hmm. Looks like we've been separated.

???: Ugh, I can't believe I overslept. What am I going to do?!

Euden: Huh?

Euden: Aaah!

Euden: Ooof. Oh, wow. Are you okay?

Philia: Owww! Watch where you're going!

Euden: Er, right. Sorry about that. You aren't hurt, are you?

Philia: Huh?! Um...no! No, I think I'm fine.

Euden: Well, that's good news, at least. Do you want me to help you up?

Philia: Th-thanks. That's very nice of you.

Philia: Oh wow, you're handsome... There's such a noble air about you...

Euden: Sorry, I didn't quite catch that.

Euden: You're kind of spacing out there. You didn't hit your head or something, did you?

Philia: I finally found you... You're my soul mate!

Euden: Wait, what?

Philia: All this time, I've been on a journey to find my soul mate.

Philia: But now my journey is finally over, because I've found who I was looking for!

Philia: Ah, I knew it would all pay off in the end... You're everything I dreamed of!

Euden: Would you mind maybe filling me in on what's going on?

Euden: I get that you were on a journey, but when you say soul mate, you don't literally—

Philia: I mean that we're going to get married and live happily ever after! ...Duh-doy.

Euden: Get married?!

Philia: Of course! My heart is telling me you're the one—AND we met just like I thought we would!

Philia: This can only be destiny at work.

Philia: So let's start dating! Oh, and planning the wedding, of course. We'll need jesters and a band and bears on unicycles and—

Euden: Okay, slow down. You can't just throw something like that at a person. I mean, I don't even KNOW you.

Philia: Pffft! Details. We can get to know one another as we go along.

Philia: Like, what's your name, for example?

Euden: Umm...it's Euden.

Philia: Euden, eh?

Philia: Ahh, Euden—my knight in shining armor!

Philia: Today is such a WONDERFUL day!

Euden: Er, I'm not actually a knight so much as a prince. Although I DO have a sword, so maybe that...

Euden: Look, we're getting sidetracked. You really shouldn't treat marriage so flippan—

Philia: You're a PRINCE?! Eeeeeeeee! You just got a thousand times dreamier!

Philia: Oh my gosh, this really IS fate at work! Now let's go, my dear Prince Charming!

Euden: Er, go where?

Philia: To your house, of course! Or your castle, I suppose, since you're royalty and all.

Philia: But wherever you live, just know that I'll be by your side forever.

Euden: Will you PLEASE listen to me?!

Philia: Hee hee! I wonder when we should hold the ceremony? Fall weddings are nice...

Philia: I can hardly wait to be up there on the altar with you. Ahh...

Euden: Um, hello? Anyone home?

Episode 2

Drawn Together

Philia: There you are, my prince!

Philia: Are you off again, darling?

Euden: Yeah. Some fiends showed up nearby, so I'm off to take care of them.

Euden: If we leave them alone, they could end up attacking a village, and that would be a serious problem.

Philia: Oh, you're so chivalrous and dashing! I feel myself falling in love with you all over again.

Philia: Oh! Take me! I want to help you!

Euden: Sure, you can come if you want.

Philia: Oh, thank you! I won't let you down!

Philia: Myyyyy priiiiince!

Philia: Are you off to beat up monsters today as well, O darling of mine?

Euden: I'm actually just walking around the castle to see how everyone's doing.

Euden: I want to know if anyone's got anything they're unhappy or worried about. This kind of thing is part of my job just as much as fighting fiends.

Philia: Wow! That's so very thoughtful!

Philia: Hey, can I come with you? I mean, I don't know if I'll be of any use, but I KNOW I'll be fine company!

Euden: Huh? Well...sure, I guess.

Philia: Aw, thanks, honey!

Philia: Ooh! It's my little princeykins!

Philia: What're you doing up and about so late?

Euden: ...Princeykins? Er, I mean, I'm just... wandering around. What about you?

Philia: Oh, I just felt like I'd be able to see you if I came here!

Philia: Is there something important you need to do? Can I come with you while you do it?

Euden: Well, it's certainly important, but... Um...

Euden: Look, you need to at least let me go to the bathroom on my own!

Philia: ...Huh? That's strange. I don't see my little princey-snookums anywhere.

Cleo: If you're looking for the prince, he left early this morning.

Philia: Ack! Where did he go?!

Cleo: I haven't the foggiest idea.

Philia: Aw, poo. Well, thanks for telling me, Cleo.

Philia: I wonder if something made him leave in a hurry? Hmm... Where could he have gone?

Philia: Huh? What are you doing on my shoulder, little birdie?

Philia: Oh, he flew away...

Philia: Wait! I know what this is! That little bird is going to take me to my darling prince!

Philia: Waaaait! Hold oooon, Mr. Birdie!

Euden: ...All right. That's all the deliveries we need to make for now.

Ranzal: Then let's grab some chow and get back already!

Ranzal: Hell, it's barely noon! Dunno why we had to leave so early...

Euden: A-actually...I worried I might get found again if I tried to leave any later.

Ranzal: Found? ...Ah. Yer talkin' about Philia.

Ranzal: Yeah, she's kinda like yer shadow lately. No surprise yer tired of it.

Euden: I've nothing against her as a person, but...yeah.

Euden: I just need time to myself once in a whi—

???: Daaaarliiiiing!

Euden: No... PHILIA?!

Philia: I'm so glad I found you! Fate really DOES want us to be together!

Euden: How did you even know I was here?! I never told anyone where I was going.

Ranzal: Bwa ha ha! Sucks bein' popular, eh, Euden?

Ranzal: Yer gonna have to accept defeat this time. This gal's just too sharp for ya.

Euden: Coincidences can be scary things...

Philia: Honestly, what ARE you two talking about? This has nothing to do with being sharp OR coinkidinks!

Philia: This is destiny! We are bound by the strongest strings of fate's loom!

Episode 3

This is Fate

Euden: Hah! Haaah!

Philia: Oh, daaaarliiing... Oh, you were training? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to disturb you.

Euden: It's okay. I was about ready to wrap up for the day anyway.

Philia: Oh, then my timing was perfect!

Philia: Here, have some water. You must be thirsty.

Euden: I am. Thanks.

Euden: I'm impressed you knew exactly what to bring me, though. It's like you knew what condition I'd be in when you found me.

Philia: Hee hee! I just had a feeling.

Euden: You sure are sharp, Philia.

Philia: I told you before, this has nothing to do with sharpness! This is fate.

Euden: Er, right. Fate.

Euden: By the way, there's something I've been meaning to ask you for a while now.

Philia: Ooo, this is exciting! It's not often YOU'RE the one asking questions!

Philia: Go on, ask me anything! I'll keep no secrets from snumpy-wumpkins!

Euden: Well, then...

Euden: Is there some reason you're so obsessed with the concept of fate?

Philia: Huh? Of course there is!

Philia: It all started with a dreamy faerie tale I read when I was a child.

Philia: Ever since, I've believed in fate with all my heart and haven't looked back!

Euden: A faerie tale, huh? How did it go?

Philia: Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a handsome young boy and a super-hot girl.

Philia: One day, these two perfect strangers bumped into one another in town. Sensing the guiding hand of fate, they IMMEDIATELY fell in love!

Philia: Just like we did! Hee!

Euden: Umm...sure. So what happened after that?

Philia: Oh, there was a big war and they got separated.

Euden: Er, is that really how it ends?

Philia: Of COURSE not! Have you even READ a faerie tale before?

Philia: ANYWAY, after the war, the two of them were drawn together by destiny yet again.

Euden: Well, that's a good ending, I guess.

Philia: THAT'S NOT THE ENDING!

Euden: Maybe you should stop leaving these long pauses in when you tell the stor—

Philia: Over and over, the two of them were separated—but every time, they found their way back to each other.

Philia: Finally, they got married in a lovely ceremony and lived happily ever after! THE. END. ...For reals, this time.

Euden: Well, I'm glad it has a happy ending.

Euden: I can see how someone would believe in fate after hearing that.

Philia: RIGHT?! Oh, I'm so happy you believe!

Philia: Our feelings are mutual! Oh, glorious day!

Euden: What?! Hold on a minute. I just said I could understand how someone might—

Philia: Well, now that our hearts are finally one, it's time to go and find a place for the special day! We leave at once!

Euden: Philia, you REALLY need to pay more attention to what I'm saying.

Episode 4

Meandering Destiny

Euden: Is everyone still with us?

Philia: I am juuust fine!

Philia: I've traveled far and wide— a forest like this is nothing.

Ranzal: Now that's encouragin'. If Cleo was here, she'd probably be complainin' right now.

Euden: Well, this IS quite the trek. I'm glad we decided to bring Philia with us.

Euden: Anyway, we're almost at the village. Just stick with it a little longer, guys.

Philia: Anything you say, sweetie pie!

Fiend: Grrrrrr!

Philia: Aaah! A fiend!

Ranzal: It's fine! One of 'em ain't a threat to us—

Fiend: Grrrrrr!

Ranzal: What the...?! It can spit smoke?! *cough* Damn it, I can't see a thing!

Ranzal: Oh, there ya are! Take this!

Philia: Aaaah! Wh-what are you doing?! You could have seriously hurt me!

Euden: It's too dangerous to fight like this. We need to split up and retreat!

Philia: Got it!

Philia: Whew! I can finally see again.

Philia: Now I need to reunite with my prince somehow.

Philia: But I'm sure that won't be a problem!

Philia: Fate wants us to be together, after all.

Philia: No matter how many times we're separated, we'll find one another again—just like the boy and girl in that faerie tale!

Philia: Ah! I hear sounds from over there! That must be him!

Philia: Oh, daaaarling! I'm so glad to see you aga...aaaain...

Ranzal: Hey there, Philia. How's tricks?

Philia: ...Wha.

Ranzal: ...Huh?

Philia: This can't be happening! You aren't my prince!

Ranzal: I guess even yer sixth sense for Euden ain't perfect.

Philia: But that doesn't make sense... It HAS to be perfect!

Ranzal: C'mon, it's nothin' to get THAT upset abo— Hey! Behind ya!

Fiend: Grrrrr!

Philia: I-it's that fiend from earlier! No way! I can't get away in ti—

Euden: Haaaah!

Euden: You okay, Philia?! That was close.

Philia: Th-thank you.

Euden: Hmm? You're not looking too good. Do you want to have a rest?

Philia: Oh... N-no... I'm fine. Really. Sooo...

Philia: (Everything's okay. He came for you in the end, didn't he?)

Philia: (He's your soul mate, and fate will always find a way to bring you together...)

Philia: (...But if he really IS my soul mate, why did I mistake Ranzal for him?)

Episode 5

Fate's Hand

Philia: *sigh*

Euden: I hope Philia is okay. She seems down.

Ranzal: Yeah. I'm worried about her, too. She's like that all the time lately.

Euden: I can't remember a day she's been normal ever since that fiend caught us off guard in the forest and we had to split up.

Euden: I wonder what the cause is, though? I've tried asking her, but she won't tell me.

Ranzal: Eh, folks can be sensitive sometimes. All we can do is try and cheer her up.

Euden: I thought the same, which is why we're here in the first place. I mean, she said she wanted to come here, but...

Euden: Well, it doesn't seem to be having much of an effect. What should we do?

Euden: Say, Philia? Is there anywhere in particular that you want to...

Euden: Huh? Where'd she go?

Ranzal: She's gone?! But she was just here!

Euden: We need to find her... Philia! Where are you, Philia?!

Philia: (I thought I was going to see my prince, but it turned out to be someone else...)

Philia: (But if we're really soul mates, how could something like that happen?)

Philia: Maybe the threads of fate holding us together aren't as strong as I thought?

Philia: ...Oh no! I didn't mean to say that out loud.

Philia: If my prince hears me saying something like that, he... Huh?

Philia: Huh?! Where am I?! Where's my prince...and the others?!

Philia: I wasn't paying attention when I was walking, so I don't even know where I am.

Philia: But if I go and try to find him and end up finding someone else again instead...

Philia: Well, I'll just have to make him find ME!

Philia: I'll attach my handkerchief to an arrow, then fire it up into the sky! ...Ha!

Philia: I wonder if he'll notice it?

Philia: ...No! I'm SURE he'll notice! Fate wants us to be together, after all.

Philia: I believe in you, my prince...

Philia: It's been so long. When is he going to come for me?

Philia: It couldn't be that...that fate doesn't...

Philia: Oh! M-my prince?!

Frivolous-Looking Man: You lost, li'l lady?

Philia: It's not him. Oh, I should have known. This is just the WORST.

Frivolous-Looking Man: Hey, c'mon now! I ain't so bad.

Frivolous-Looking Man: Yer alone, right? Want me to give ya a tour of the town?

Philia: No, I do NOT! ...Save me, my prince!

???: Philia!

Euden: Thank goodness I found you! We were all really worried when you vanished!

Frivolous-Looking Man: Well, this was a big waste'a time. See ya.

Philia: My prince! You really came for me!

Philia: We really are bound together by fate! Otherwise, you wouldn't have noticed my arrow like you did!

Euden: That arrow was pretty clever.

Euden: Though I only saw it for a moment, and I couldn't be confident it was yours.

Philia: Then why did you follow it?

Euden: As long as there was even the slightest chance it would lead me to you, that was good enough.

Philia: Even the slightest chance...?

Philia: ...Of course! Hee hee. Of course. What have I been getting so worked up for all this time?

Philia: Even if fate isn't as absolute as I thought, that's no reason to give up!

Euden: Um, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but does this mean you're feeling better?

Euden: Then like I was asking earlier, is there anywhere in this town you want to look a—

Philia: Wedding halls!

Euden: That was...a very fast answer.

Philia: Of course! And look, even if—and this is a BIG if—fate really isn't absolute...

Philia: It just means I have to try that much harder to pull us closer together!

Philia: Oh! Maybe we should skip looking at halls and just do the ceremony today!

Euden: I... No... What?

Philia: Oh, is today no good? Then when are you free? Tomorrow? The weekend?

Euden: Uh... Umm... Actually, I just remembered I have something to do! Bye!

Philia: Waaaait! Come back, my darling prince! Come baaaack!

Philia: There's no point in trying to run away! Fate will just keep pulling us together!
