This Dragalia Lost tier list ranks characters based on their strengths and weaknesses and overall performance. The purpose of these tier lists is to provide a base level of insight on the various characters in Dragalia Lost. Tier lists are always subjective in nature, so keep that in mind when evaluating them.

• Due to how new the game is, ratings may change rapidly.
• Rating criteria will likely shift with the release of harder content and raids.

Rating definitions

• S: Meta defining characters that perform one or more important roles exceptionally well.
• A+: Very good characters that perform their role well and have few to no weaknesses.
• A: Characters with minor flaws that perform their role well.
• B+: Characters that can perform their role, but are overshadowed by those above them.
• B: Characters that are held back by poor skills or abilities, or are simply outclassed.
• C: Characters that cannot perform their role well, fill a niche that is not required, or are outclassed by units in the B tier.
• D: Characters with serious problems.
• Unranked: Recently released characters that haven't been ranked.

Criteria:

• Adventurers are assumed to be promoted to 5 and to have all unlocked mana circles besides co-ability improvements and items (45 circles).
• Adventurers are assumed to have an optimal dragon equipped.
• Adventurers are assumed to have access to a 5 weapon.
• Adventurers are compared within their own element first before being compared to Adventurers in other elements.
• Adventurers are assumed to be controlled by the player, AI is not taken into consideration.
• The content considered are Master Dragon Trials, Master Imperial Onslaughts, Void Battles, Raid Events, Facility Events, High Midgardsormr's Trial, High Brunhilda's Trial, and High Mercury's Trial.

	Unranked -> A+	Mym boasts a unique shapeshifting-oriented kit and high damage output, but she doesn’t quite reach the extremely high bar set by the S-ranked flame adventurers. Her damage output starts off solid since she has access to three attack skills when using the 5.3 flame lance, but she doesn’t unlock her full potential until she shapeshifts for the first time in a quest, as her Flamewyrm’s Nature passive grants a permanent strength increase and permanently boosts her S2’s damage. As such, she’ll perform well in raid content thanks to the dragon prep meta, which will enable her to shapeshift the instant the quest starts. Mym’s S1 also fills the dragon meter by 5% when it connects, enabling her to transform earlier and more often than her teammates. She is thus a solid pick for High Midgardsormr, as the length of the quest gives her plenty of time to ramp up and transform many times over the course of the fight. On top of that, her Flamewyrm’s Defiance passive grants stun immunity as well as a bonus perk that charges S1 halfway if you take a hit that would apply stun. However, she’s held back in shorter quests since she has to wait for her first shapeshift to truly shine. While the flame-attuned adventurers ranked above her can outperform her by virtue of their extremely powerful mechanics, she’s more than capable of performing well in a variety of content.
	S -> A+	Lily had previously been elevated to S tier back when freezes were superior in duration to sleep and stun, and Lily even saw off-element play as a result. However, she doesn’t stand out as much as she used to, and she has several weaknesses preventing her from standing at the top. The extremely slow animation on her S1 not only hurts her damage output, but will also whiff entirely on a moving target. Her Full HP = Strength passive is unreliable, and notably suffers from uptime issues versus High Brunhilda due to the the unavoidable damage. Newer content released since her old placement haven’t been favorable to Lily, as Void Agni is immune to freeze and Lily doesn’t have access to a Skill Resistance Penetrator weapon, which makes her skills worthless in that fight. Lily is still a strong character and is well suited for a variety of content, but she doesn’t have unique or powerful enough mechanics that would make her a must pick.
	A+ -> A	Lucretia's S1 suffers from both poor frame data and a slow charge rate, so she relies on her energy-based kit to contribute more damage. However, while her potential for energy synergy is promising, it doesn’t have strong enough support to make up for her weaknesses. Other energy-based light adventurers such as Annelie and Vixel don't share any of the same ailment resistances, hurting their likelihood of being run on the same team. Lucretia can still make good use of her Energized: Strength passive herself, but she'll struggle to energize her teammates alone, as her S1 grants only a single stack of energy. She remains a solid character, but doesn't outperform the other light wand adventurers with the current level of energy support among the cast.
