The following is a list of terms and definitions for common phrases and acronyms in Dragalia Lost.
General Terms
- AI - Artificial Intelligence, refers to the units a player uses that are controlled by the computer
- BIS - Best in Slot
- Brick - Steel Brick / Damascus Ingot
- C# - Combo #, referring to the normal attack combination performed when tapping screen # of times.
- Co-Ability - Team-wide buffs specific to each weapon type of adventurer. Do not stack. See Co-abilities.)
- Dama - Damascus Ingot
- Dama Break/Dama Dismantle - Using a Damascus Ingot on a 5T3 weapon and then dismantling the weapon to obtain more materials.
- DoT - Damage Over Time
- DPrep - Dragon Prep, refers to anything that grants Shapeshift Prep
- Epithet - Titles which a player can earn, equip and display to other users. See Epithets.
- FS (Force Strike) - Attack used when player taps and holds the screen. See Combat Mechanics#Force Strikes.
- Gala - Summon banner featuring limited units every 2 months with increased 5
summon rates and lower pity amount needed for a guaranteed 5
summon.
- HoT - Heal over Time, or heals that regenerate HP over time instead of flat heals.
- IFrame - Invincibility Frame, the time upon using a skill where the player and player's AI characters are immune to certain damage
- MC (Mana Circle) - See Mana Circles.
- Might - One of the stat values given when viewing a team and its units. See Might.
- OD - Overdrive
- #UB (# Unbound) - The amount of times a dragon / wyrmprint / weapon has been unbinded. For example, 2UB Agni would refer to an Agni that has been unbound twice.
- MUB (Max Unbound) - Dragons / Wyrmprints / Weapons which have been fully unbinded (4 times) through duplicates or their respective unbind resources (Stone, Key, Brick)
- S# - Skill #. For example, S1 refers to a character's Skill 1.
- SP - Skill Points, granted when attacking and used to charge skills for usage.
- Stone / Moonstone / Sunstone - Moonlight Stone / Sunlight Stone
- Suptix / Dream Summon - Surprise ticket. Term taken from another of Cygames' games Granblue Fantasy alluding to the Dream Summon, which is a summon that can be redeemed for a character or dragon of choice.
- Welfare - Units given out for free from events
Character Alt Notation
Characters with alternate versions are often denoted in the following format:
<Shortened Event Name>!<Character>

- H!Elisanne (H!Eli) - Halloween Elisanne
- DY!Cleo - Dragonyule Cleo
- V!Hilde - Valentine's Hilde
Quests Acronyms
- AtP - Avenue to Power
- AtF - Avenue to Fortune
- DT - Dragon Trials
- HDT - High Dragon Trials
- HBH/HBrun - High Brunhilda
- HMS/HMid - High Midgardsormr
- HMC/HMerc - High Mercury
- HJP/HJupi - High Jupiter (Not yet released)
- JZD/HZodi - High Zodiark (Not yet released)
- IO - Imperial Onslaught
- Ruins - Elemental Ruins
- VB/Void - Void Battles
Weapons
- Ele - Elemental weapon, typically refers to the third tier of a non-void weapon
- Void - Void Weapons, weapons craftable from materials earned from Void Battles
Notation
There are two common notations for weapons which are as follows:
<Rarity>T<Tier>
Example. 4T3 would refer to a Rarity 4 Weapon at its 3rd Tier.
<Rarity>.<Tier>.<Unbinds>
Example. 4.3.4 refers to a Rarity 4 weapon at its 3rd Tier with 4 unbinds.
Wyrmprint Acronyms
Wyrmprints which are commonly used or considerably powerful in relation to other wyrmprints are often given acronyms. The following list are a couple commonly used wyrmprint acronyms.
- CE - Crystalian Envoy
- D&T - Dragon and Tamer
- GMYW - Give Me Your Wounded
- HH - Heavenly Holiday
- HoH - Heralds of Hinomoto
- JotS - Jewels of the Sun
- KC - King's Countenance
- KFM - Kung Fu Masters
- LC - Levin's Champion
- PP - Plunder Pals
- RR - Resounding Rendition
- TSO - The Shining Overlord
- TWS - Together We Stand
- VC - Valiant Crown
