This Dragalia Lost tier list ranks characters based on the most useful characters in the content we've had so far. Characters are only compared to other characters within the same category. As a result characters in a tier for one category do not necessarily have the same usability as a character in the same tier of another category. However all adventurers within the same category and same tier are to be considered roughly equal, there is no specific order within each tier.
General Adventurer Tier List
This tier list is geared towards viability. How worthwhile it is to invest resources into these characters and their ability in various content. Content most heavily considered are Master Dragon Trials, High Dragon Trials, Imperial Onslaught, Void Battles, Facility events, and Raid Battles.
Rating Definitions and Criteria
Rating definitions
- S+: The best Characters available for this role. Nearly never a bad choice to invest in.
- S: Characters that perform their roles exceptionally well that are almost always welcome on a team when properly used.
- A+: Characters that can perform their role well. Might be outclassed but definitely capable of clearing the most difficult content
- A: Characters that can perform their role well enough but often require more effort and investment to use effectively
- B: Characters that can perform their role, but are held back by stats or other weaknesses, or are simply outclassed.
- C: Characters that cannot perform their role well, fill a niche that is not required, or outclassed by units in the B tier.
- D: The weakest character in that category. Usually a last resort pick if you absolutely need a character with the proper resistances.
- Unranked: Characters with only 25% resistance that while in theory you could use, but would probably be a worse choice than an off element character or another healer.
Criteria:
- Adventurers are assumed to be promoted to 5
and to have all unlocked mana circles. Natural 5 characters have higher rating simply due to not requiring eldwater to access 5th tier of mana nodes. - Adventurers are assumed to have an optimal dragon equipped.
- Adventurers are assumed to have access to an optimal weapon.
- Adventurers are compared within their own element/resistance. S+ in one category =/= S+ in another. Likewise D in one category =/= D in another
- Adventurers are assumed to be controlled by the player. However purely defensive skillsets are not completely penalized because they are still decent options for ai and strength doublebuff is easily accessible.
- Characters without 100% resistance are tiered lower due to not only requiring a promotion but also devoting a wyrmprint to complete resistance. This is usually 3
characters and event characters.
