Summary

Ezelith is returning to the Halidom. When she tries to speak to the prince, they happen upon a lurking Ranzal. She earnestly apologizes for what she said earlier, and thanks the prince for acknowledging her true self.

Dialogue

We're almost back to the Halidom. ...Huh? I'm walking slowly? Yeah, I guess I was just thinking that I didn't want today to end. I know I got a little down, but it was still a really fun day. Probably because you were with me. It would have been a huge downer otherwise. That's why I... Um... Well, I suppose I should just come right out and say it. I want to be with yo— Wuh oh... Waugh! Who's there?! Um...am I interruptin'? Gramps?! What are you— I ain't eavesdroppin' on ya, I swear! When I saw ya comin', I was gonna say somethin', but ya looked...I dunno. Different, I guess—so I decided it was better to just stay put. Didn't mean to stumble into yer confession of love or nothin'. L-love?! You were tellin' the prince how ya feel about him, yeah? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I was just trying to thank him for everything that he does! Oh. Uh... Okay then. Honestly, old man! You have all the grace and subtlety of an earthquake! ...But I guess that's just who you are. Just like how I'm still a kid. I ain't followin'. Remember when you came back to the castle injured and I yelled at you? I've been rather hung up on that ever since it happened, and... Well, I think I should apologize. I'm sorry, Ranzal. Nah, I'm the one what oughta be apologizin' here. I said my fair share of harsh words. Hell, me callin' ya a kid was about the brattiest thing a guy can do! Sorry 'bout that. Apology accepted. But hey, if ya don't mind me askin', what's goin' on? Ya seem...different today. If ya acted this charmin' all the time— Ex-CUSE me? Are you implying that I am normally NOT charming? No, that ain't it at all! Oh, so you think I'm super charming and adorable, then? Make up your mind old man! You don't make a lick'a sense sometimes, kid. Ya know that, right?
