The following is a compilation of several tier lists across several different sites. The purpose of these tier lists is to provide a base level of insight on the various characters in Dragalia Lost. By including several tier lists, this will provide varying opinions of characters with varying criteria and allow players themselves to develop their own opinions on where a unit stands. As always, keep in mind that tier lists are subjective in nature when evaluating them.

General Adventurer Tier Lists

Rating Definitions and Criteria

Rating Definitions
S/S+:	Characters that perform their roles exceptionally well.
A+:	Characters that can perform their role well, only having minor issues.
A:	Characters that can perform their role well, but are not exceptional.
B:	Characters that can perform their role, but are held back by stats or other weaknesses, or are simply outclassed.
C:	Characters that cannot perform their role well, fill a niche that is not required, or outclassed by units in the B tier.
D:	Characters with serious problems.
Unranked:	Recently released characters that haven't been ranked.

Criteria

Adventurers are assumed to be promoted to 5 and to have all unlocked mana circles besides co-ability improvements and items (45 circles). Adventurers are assumed to have an optimal dragon equipped. Adventurers are assumed to have access to a 5 weapon. Adventurers are assumed to fight with elemental advantage. Adventurers are compared within their own element first before being compared to Adventurers in other elements. Adventurers are assumed to be controlled by the player, AI is not taken into consideration. The content considered are Master Dragon Trials, Master Imperial Onslaughts, Raid Events, and Facility Events. High Dragon Trials are not taken into consideration. Wyrmprints are not taken into consideration.

Adventurer	Tier Change	Description
	S -> A	The incredible potency and uptime of Sinoa’s buffs don’t make up for her inconsistency, and the defensively-oriented buffs are less valuable when Verica or Phoenix alone are sufficient to maintain a healthy party outside of High Midgardsormr, which isn’t covered by this tier list.
	A -> A+	The ability to stack multiple defense debuffs allows Ezelith to contribute much more damage than initially thought, despite her S2’s poor charge time and her S1 having lower DPS than her normal attacks.
	S -> A+	Musashi’s damage output was rated too highly, since he’s held back by the very short buff time on his S2 and inconsistent passives, and as such he can’t compete with Addis as a DPS.
	A+ -> S	Lucretia’s ability to charge energy was underrated. She contributes more damage herself and for the team than Amane, who she originally shared a tier with, since Amane’s strengths over Lucretia are cancelled out by the very long charge rate of her S2.
	S -> S+	Hildegarde's shields have more value than initially thought, due to their ability to block status ailments, and her healing output is excellent to boot. The short quest duration of the average content favors Hildegarde and her 100% Skill Prep over other healers such as Vixel and Verica who would otherwise eventually eclipse her healing output due to superior charge times on potent regen skills.
	B -> C	Ryozen’s damage output is seriously lacking, vying for the lowest among non-healers, and his defense buffs and self healing pale in value to using a healer instead. He’s nearly unkillable, but struggles to pull his weight as a DPS and offers too little to the team to make up for it.
	A+ -> S	Botan still has serious problems with her passive skills, but her damage output through bleed and team strength buffs greatly exceed those placed below her. Among shadow adventurers, only Ieyasu outdamages her.
	A -> A+	Sazanka’s bleed was undervalued. Even if her sleep kit is unreliable or useless in some content, she has high enough damage contribution to be a valuable pick.
	A -> A+	Zace has a higher damage output than any of those still remaining in A among shadow characters, and only benefits further from the attack skill on the 5* shadow lance.
	B -> A	Rodrigo’s High HP = Strength and multiple attack skills give him good damage contribution, and while his AoE might be less impressive than many swords, content hasn’t demanded AoE utility for shadow adventurers since the adds are so spread out in Light IO.
	B -> C	Berserker’s damage output isn’t good, and his survival capability, which isn’t weighted highly on this tier list, is also weaker than characters with similar tankiness such as Julietta and Ryozen. He’s still usable for Light IO, but shouldn’t be chosen for any other content.

Specific Content Adventurer Lists

The following are not specifically tier lists, but automatically generated lists with set parameters of common units to use in specific endgame content, as most other content can be cleared with essentially most elementally advantaged units.

Imperial Onslaughts

The following list are units recommended to take into Imperial Onslaughts based on their element type and affliction resist attributes.

Other units not listed are still entirely capable of completing the Imperial Onslaughts as well, especially other units being controlled by the player. However, units with full affliction resist can be more forgiving of mistakes and can also be useful in putting together AI Auto Battle teams. Most AI Auto Battle teams boil down to:

• 1x Elemental Advantage Melee DPS Lead w/ 100% Affliction Resist
• 1x Elemental Advantage DPS
• 2x Healers (At least 1x On-Element recommended, but not necessary, especially if player has strong healers such as Verica, Vixel, and Hildegarde)

With this in mind, the criteria used for generating the list is:

• Units are listed in alphabetical order, with order having no bearing on quality of the unit.
• To avoid complicating the table query, partial resist characters and wyrmprints with affliction resists are not taken into account in this table.
  • The Affliction pages (eg. Stun) can be visited instead to view lists of partial/full resist characters and wyrmprints.
