Preparation

Unlike other quests, the High Dragon Trials requires grind and preparation in order to even survive the quest. In order to have a co-op team even accept you, you must:

• Obtain the High Midgardsormr Wyrmprint:
• Meet HP/Str Stat Thresholds

Obtaining the Wyrmprint

Glorious Tempest can be obtained through the Imperial Onslaught Exchange in the Shop's Treasure Trade section for:

• x1 (Fully Unbound)
  • These can also be bought from the Imperial Onslaught Exchange. You will need 5 of them to create 1 fully unbound copy for a total of:

Stat Thresholds

All players must make sure their adventurer meets the stat thresholds before attempting the quest. Not meeting the thresholds will often lead to failed runs, such as not having enough Str to complete the quest on time, or not having enough HP to even survive the first skill.

• Strength is a soft requirement. 2,000 STR is the generally accepted requirement; however, an average of 2,200 STR is required for clearing consistently.
• HP is the main threshold to hit since this is a hard requirement. Some attacks are unavoidable, and you must have the requisite HP in order to survive these attacks. The following table covers the HP thresholds for various scenarios, taken from /u/badatDL's Reddit post with credits to lemons#2551 on Discord:

Adventurer Options

The following are potential adventurer considerations to take for High Midgardsormr.

	Mikoto	+ Highest Str out of all the Fire characters with a solid DPS-oriented skill set. + Is a melee character (10 Defense) + Has 100% Stun Res + Katana means he has Strength Coability to boost DPS of the rest of the team.
	Verica	+ Best Fire Healer, pretty much required + Has 100% Stun Res + Blessings of Destiny removes Stun from allies
	Vanessa	+ Defense Coability gives entire team more survivability + Respectable Damage + Is a melee character (10 Defense) + 100% Stun Res
	Euden	+ Has 100% Stun Res + Everybody has him. - Decent HP and Str, but not not as great compared to other Fire 5 s (if you have them). - Will need Eldwater to promote.
	Ezelith	+ Decent STR and good HP. + Solid offensive skillset. Howling Meteor also has a long iFrame duration, good for baiting some of High Midgardsormr's skills. - Howling Meteor has a long iFrame duration. If you're not familiar with the timing, you'll skill right into a purple skill. - No Stun Res. Getting hit will be incredibly punishing.
	Naveed
	Sinoa	+ Ranged characters are much safer to play, and can thus output consistent damage. + Her buffs benefit her team members. - Ranged characters have lower defense (8 Def) vs. melee characters. Will need a specific team composition (eg. Vanessa with her Defense Co-Ability) in order to even survive first hit.
	Other characters often lack properties that the adventurers recommended above may have (eg. Not having 100% Stun Res which makes getting hit less forgiving, being off-element which lessens damage output and increases damage taken, etc.). While these characters can still be viable, these characters may need very specific team compositions / coordination / exceedingly high and dedicated amount of investment in order to meet the stat thresholds. Random groups may question or not take kindly to these characters.

Explanation
Team composition that allows for more leeway thanks to Vanessa being an Axe and having the Defense coability to shave off some damage. Having a Vanessa also allows for ranged DPS adventurers (eg. ) to more comfortably hit the HP thresholds that they might've not otherwise. Vanessa's damage is by no means terrible either, and can potentially compete with other DPS options as well. You might encounter instead of Vanessa because of his HP coability, but because he's 3 (So needs more resources to be invested in), sports less Str than Vanessa, and maxes his Stun Res at 75%, he is much less common.

Explanation
Similar to the first Team composition but opts for damage to more comfortably clear the quest within the time limit at the expense of survivability. Recommended more for players who are familiar with High Midgardsormr's moveset since the extra safety of Vanessa's Co-Ability isn't needed as much if you don't get hit from extraneous damage.
