Summary

Having seen her brother's growth firsthand, Louise becomes determined to let him go. But at that moment, Garuda appears and things get heated. However, fiends attack the nearby village, forcing both party and dragon to work together to defeat them.

The village isn't far now, but I'm worried about how many more fiends we've seen since entering these woods. I feel like there are even more than before. Perhaps it's because Garuda isn't around. Hrraaagh! That takes care of that one. Think that was all of 'em? Looks like it. Let's keep goin— Louise, behind you! What?! (It's too fast—I won't have time to take it out with my bow.) I couldn't just stand there and let it get my sister. I had to do something. And yeah, I was scared, but I wasn't going to let that stop me! You did a great job, Lowen. Hee hee! Thanks. ...... That scream came from the village! The fiends must be attacking! Fiends attacking the village? Have I truly neglected my duties so...? Garuda, after this, I promise I'll do anything you say!
