Mikoto | S+ | Mikoto is pretty much the definition of a glass cannon; he can dish out a lot of damage but is pretty fragile. He has the lowest HP stat of all 5* units, but also the highest Strength stat of all 5* units. He also starts at a base 20% Critical Rate thanks to his passives, on top of a 10% Strength up co-ability. His second ability lets him attack faster, which is great for a katana user since their moves have a pretty long ending animation and it increases his dps even more. |

Verica | S | Fire's best healer. The only reason she's not on par with Hildegarde is because of her 4* stats. She can actually output more healing than Hildegarde, however Hilde is better for team-wide healing than Verica. On top of her co-ability, she's got 2 healing increase passives which bring her to a total of 37% increased healing at full HP. To top it off, she can equip Phoenix which increases her HP and heals the entire team when using the Dragon skill. The only downsides are her 4* stats, and that she has no team-wide burst heal |

Ezelith | S | Ezelith is a good dps unit with a very solid weapon. Unfortunately, she is significantly hindered by her lackluster active abilities. Howling Meteor's extremely long animation is good for early missions, but falls off hard once enemies start using purple skills that can interrupt the animation. Brilliant Inferno is an extremely good ability on paper, but the low proc chance, short duration, and debuff cap all prevent it from being devastating enough to justify the extremely high SP cost. Despite this, her passive abilities are still very good, and should not be cause her to be overlooked. |

Karl | A+ | Karl's skillset is extremely simple, but effective. He possesses two passive skills that augment his own strength, and an active that increases his entire team's damage output. While his base stats are initially more invested in HP than Strength, he is capable of very rapidly accumulating a large amount of stacking buffs on himself that cause him to deal a very high amount of consistent damage. |

Vanessa | A+ | Vanessa is basically Mikoto, except she's a 4* and wields an axe. She's got one of the highest attack stats in the game, coupled with axe multipliers. She also has 40% increased Force Strike damage which is great on axes, given how their Force Strike works. It makes her a great unit to clear hordes of enemies. However, she's not without flaws. Her HP is low, and being an axe, she'll take a while to get her attacks off, leaving her vulnerable to attacks. Last Offense is a great one-time boost, but it's that: one time. |

Euden | A | The MC is a pretty solid unit. He gets a ramping Strength buff in Dragon Claws as well as Defense Reduction on his second skill. However, his stats suffer from being a free 4* unit, and his 3rd passive, while nice for leveling, doesn't affect combat. Karl outclasses Euden as well, unless you already have someone else who brings a Strength buff. |

Xania | A | Xania is currently the best ranged damage dealer for Flame. Despite her being a 3* unit, she can dish out respectable damage with her 2 nukes backed up by a total of 28% increased skill damage thanks to her passive and co-ability. |

Renelle | B | 3* Ezelith with more Critical Rate. Renelle also brings a Defense Reduction to the fight at a similarly low hit rate as Ezelith. However, whereas Ezelith also has a steroid and increased debuff success rate, Renelle doesn’t. She's also held back by the fact that she's a 3* unit. |

Aoi | B | 3* Mikoto without the Critical Rate. Despite being a 3*, she has a decent Strength stat and Overdrive Punisher to help her damage output. However, she has very low HP even for a 3* unit. |

Joe | B | Fire's only archer, it makes sense for Joe to bring the Burn status to the fight. He's also got a pretty respectable Strength stat for a 3* unit. His first passive helps him activate his Burn, however is only active at full hp. Also, only 1 of his 2 skills has a chance to inflict burn. |

Alain | C | Alain honestly doesn't have much going for him. 2 damage skills without any extra effects, yet he's got one of the lowest Strength stats. While his passive, Last Defense, increases his Defense by a pretty good amount, it only activates once per battle. |

Aurien | C | Aurien's trying to be both a mage and a healer at the same time, but unfortunately being a 3* means he doesn't have the passives or stats to allow for doing multiple things and he ends up being mediocre at both healing and damage. Xania is a better ranged damage dealer whereas Verica outheals Aurien a lot. |
