Rating definitions
- S+/S: Characters that perform their roles exceptionally good.
- A+/A: Characters that can perform their role well, but are held back by stats or other weaknesses or are outclassed.
- B: Characters that have a niche but are outclassed by better units or have bad stats/passives.
- C: Characters that don't perform their role well.
Criteria
- Units are assumed to be max level with a completely unlocked manacircle and fully promoted.
- Accesibility is not taken into account for dragons; units have the ability to equip any dragon they want and the most optimal one is used for their placement.
- Units don't have access to their 5* weapons. For the majority of players, 5* elemental weapons are currently unavailable.
- Wyrmprints are not taken into account or mentioned. The exception is Valiant Crown due to how doublebuffs work, but it will not affect unit placement.
- Units are assumed to fight with elemental advantage because of how big the elemental (dis)advantage is in Dragalia Lost.
- Units are compared within it's own element first before being compared to units in other elements.
- The list does not take AI performance into account; it is purely for units controlled by the player.
- Player skill is ignored; the list is based on the assumption that the player can play all classes equally well.
