For a list of weapons, see Weapon List instead.

Weapons in Dragalia Lost have both a HP stat and a Strength stat that increases based on their level. These weapons can be equipped by characters to raise their HP and Strength.

By default a character uses a Level 0 weapon with 0 HP and 0 Strength, but weapons with stats can either be obtained as drops from quests, chests found during quests, or even stronger weapons can be crafted once the Smithy is unlocked after Chapter 2: 6-2.

Acquiring Weapons

  • 1 Icon Rarity 1.png weapons are equipped to adventurers by default.
  • 2 Icon Rarity 2.png weapons drop from quests as rewards from chests and monsters.
  • 3 Icon Rarity 3.png weapons are instantly available for crafting through the Smithy once it is unlocked in Halidom, and may be dropped in quests.
  • 4 Icon Rarity 4.png weapons can be crafted once the Smithy has been raised to a minimum of level 4, and may be dropped in quests, or given as an event reward.
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png weapons can be crafted once the Smithy has been raised to a minimum of level 7, and may be dropped in event quests, or given as an event or trade reward.
    • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png High Dragon tier 1 weapons of a given element and class can be crafted once the prerequisite Void Dragon tier 3 and Core tier 3 weapons of the same element and class have been crafted.
    • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Chimeratech tier 1 weapons of a given element and class can be crafted once the prerequisite Manticore tier 3 weapon of the same element and class has been crafted.
  • 6 Icon Rarity 6.png weapons of a given element and class can be crafted once the prerequisite Chimeratech tier 2 weapon of the same element and class has been crafted.

Crafting and Enhancing

See also: Weapon Trees

To craft 3 Icon Rarity 3.png or higher weapons, the player must unlock the Smithy facility in Halidom. Raising the Smithy level allows you to enhance weapons further.
Each weapon is linked to a weapon tree by weapon class and rarity (i.e. 4 Icon Rarity 4.png Sword tree). A weapon progresses along the tree via Enhancement in the Upgrade menu. The final weapon in each branch of a weapon tree will have an element tied to it, shown by the color of the weapon icon's background. Elemental weapons have a 50% bonus to their stats when equipped by an adventurer of the same element.

A weapon must be fully unbound and max level before it can be enhanced.

Weapons with embedded skills will improve their skill when the weapon is fully unbound.

When a weapon is enhanced to a higher tier, it loses all unbind levels and weapon experience. The exception is 6 Icon Rarity 6.png tier 1 weapons enhanced to tier 2; in this case, the unbind levels are kept, but weapon experience is still lost.

Dismantling

The player can pay Icon Resource Rupies.png Rupies to revert a crafted weapon back into its base weapons and materials. The dismantle cost is based on the rarity and tier of the weapon in question. All weapons created from this process will be at level 1 and fully unbound. The only losses incurred from this process are weapon experience and rupies; all crafting materials used to create the weapon are returned. Some weapons cannot be dismantled: such weapons will pop up a warning with this message when you attempt to craft them.

[# of MUB Previous Tier Weapons Returned] = [# of Unbindings] + 1
[# of Materials Returned] = [Base Material Cost] * ([# of Unbindings] + 1)
Dismantle Cost Icon Resource Rupies.png Rupies
Icon Rarity Row 3.png Icon Rarity Row 4.png Icon Rarity Row 5.png
Tier 1 1,000 8,000 125,000
Tier 2 5,000 40,000 750,000
Tier 3 30,000 240,000 4,500,000

Leveling weapons

Weapons can be leveled with either other weapons or by using Whetstones. Whetstones drop in a few story quests and can also be acquired in the daily Item Summoning. The most reliable source for Whetstones is The Imperial Onslaught, but these challenge quests only unlocks after Chapter 6 is cleared. Additionally, each day 3 Gold Whetstones can be purchased in the shop for 10,000 Icon Resource Rupies.png Rupies each.

Weapon Recommendations

These are recommended general weapon paths for players to follow:

  • Weapons before 5 Icon Rarity 5.png rarity are not shown, as they are now random drops and/or given out as event rewards, and may not require crafting to obtain.
Progression Short Description
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Chimeratech T2
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png High Dragon T1
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png High Dragon T2
  • 6 Icon Rarity 6.png Agito T1
  • 6 Icon Rarity 6.png Agito T2
This progression path goes towards building up enough weapon effectiveness against endgame content, towards 6 Icon Rarity 6.png weapons.

This is the modernized progression path, where Chimeratech weapons are used in place of 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core weapons, as a stepping stone to High Dragon and Agito weapons.

  • A Void Dragon tier 3 and core tier 3 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the High Dragon tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • A Manticore tier 3 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the Chimeratech tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • A Chimeratech tier 2 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the Agito tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • Due to the low difficulty of Expert Kai Yan's Wrath, it is possible to skip the High Dragon weapons for Shadow-attuned adventurers by using Chimeratech tier 2 weapons for clearing it.
  • Similarly, healers and adventurers with a highly supportive role (e.g.
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
    ,
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
    , or
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
) may also opt to skip the High Dragon weapons and clear The Agito Uprising content with Chimeratech tier 2 weapons.
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core T1
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core T2
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core T3
This progression path goes straight towards 5 Icon Rarity 5.png tier 3 Weapons.

This is the original general progression path, before the introduction of High Dragon, Chimeratech, and Agito weapons. No longer recommended except as a prerequisite for crafting High Dragon weapons (see above) and clearing Chapter 12 endeavors which requires the crafting of a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png tier 3 core water weapon.

  • For characters who don't use the 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Tier 3 Elemental Weapons, keep them using 5 Icon Rarity 5.png tier 1 MUB weapons.
