Weapon Recommendations

These are recommended general weapon paths for players to follow:

  • Weapons before 5 Icon Rarity 5.png rarity are not shown, as they are now random drops and/or given out as event rewards, and may not require crafting to obtain.
Progression Short Description
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Chimeratech tier 2 0 Unbind.png
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png High Dragon tier 1 0 Unbind.png
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png High Dragon tier 2 0 Unbind.png
  • 6 Icon Rarity 6.png Agito tier 1 4 Unbind.png
This progression path goes towards building up enough weapon effectiveness against endgame content, towards 6 Icon Rarity 6.png weapons.

This is the modernized progression path, where Chimeratech weapons are used in place of 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core weapons, as a stepping stone to High Dragon and Agito weapons.

  • A Void Dragon tier 3 and core tier 3 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the High Dragon tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • A Manticore tier 3 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the Chimeratech tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • A Chimeratech tier 2 weapon of the corresponding element and weapon class are prerequisites for crafting the Agito tier 1 weapon of the same element and weapon class.
  • Due to the low difficulty of Expert Kai Yan's Wrath, it is possible to skip the High Dragon weapons for Shadow-attuned adventurers by using Chimeratech tier 2 weapons for clearing it.
  • Similarly, healers and adventurers with a highly supportive role (e.g.
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
    ,
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
    , or
    Error: Table Adventurers not found.
) may also opt to skip the High Dragon weapons and clear The Agito Uprising content with Chimeratech tier 2 weapons.
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core tier 1 4 Unbind.png
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core tier 2 4 Unbind.png
  • 5 Icon Rarity 5.png core tier 3 0 Unbind.png
This progression path goes straight towards 5 Icon Rarity 5.png tier 3 Weapons.

This is the original general progression path, before the introduction of High Dragon, Chimeratech, and Agito weapons. No longer recommended except as a prerequisite for crafting High Dragon weapons (see above) and clearing Chapter 12 endeavors which requires the crafting of a 5 Icon Rarity 5.png tier 3 core water weapon.

  • Note that if interested in High Dragon Trials, this is also one of the recommended progression paths due to 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Tier 3 often being necessary in order to reach stat thresholds (excluding special cases like Verica).
  • For characters who don't use the 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Tier 3 Elemental Weapons, keep them using 5 Icon Rarity 5.png Tier 1 MUB Weapons.
