This is a guide for efficiently progressing to and through endgame content in Dragalia Lost after you have cleared through at least Chapter 9 of the Normal difficulty story quests in order to have unlocked all features and quests.

The current endgame content is regarded as Expert and Master difficulties of Advanced Dragon Trials (aka. High Dragon Trials, or HDTs), and Volk's Wrath/Expert and Expert difficulties for future Agito quests.

Preparation

Facilities

Facilities that increase the stats of adventurers are a large contributor to a unit's HP and strength and leveling them is a crucial step for preparing for endgame content.

Facility Upgrade Material Source Notes
Altars Elemental Ruins
Dojos Imperial Onslaught Has large increases in bonus stats granted at levels 16 and 31
Slime Status Void Battles Purchased from Shop/Treasure Trade for Void Battles and all upgrade materials come from various Void Battles
Event Facilities Facility Event Buildings that are gifted to the player during special Facility Events (ex. Arctos Monument from Flames of Reflection).

Adventurers

Given the difficulty of endgame quests, adventurers should generally be upgraded as much as possible to maximize the chances of success. This includes:

  • Promotions — 3 Icon Rarity 3.pngand 4 Icon Rarity 4.pngadventurers should be promoted all the way up to 5 Icon Rarity 5.png
  • Mana Circle and Mana Spiral — all 50 nodes in the base mana circles should be unlocked. Additionally, for adventurers that have a Mana Spiral, those nodes should also be unlocked as far as possible. Some of the later nodes in Mana Spirals require materials dropped by High Dragon Trials.
  • AugmentsFortifying Crystals and Amplifying Crystals can add up to +100 HP and +100 Strength to an adventurer. This amount is additional multiplied by Adventurer Facilities and is a substantial increase in stats.

Wyrmprints

The effects of wyrmprints range wildly, so picking appropriate wyrmprints for endgame quests for your adventurer is critical. Besides choosing the appropriate prints, the prints should be max unbound and also preferably max augmented with +100 HP from Fortifying Gemstones and +100 Strength from Amplifying Gemstones. While wyrmprint stats do not get multiplied by any facilities, the +400 total stats from two fully augmented wyrmprints is still a significant boost.

Dragons

With some few exceptions, players are expected to have appropriate 5 Icon Rarity 5.pnggacha dragons that are max unbound and max leveled for all endgame content.

Void Battles

While there are many Void Battles whose weapons are critical for strengthening your party and preparing for endgame content, there are a number that are considered skippable and largely unnecessary. This section will focus on an efficient progression path for the more important Void Battle quests. For a more comprehensive overview of all the Void Battles, please refer to Void Battles Guide.

  1. (optional) Farm Catoblepas Anemos Strike for a tier 2 void weapon with (Flame) Spectral Shield Penetrator
  2. (optional) Farm Eolian Phantom Strike for a tier 2/3 void weapon with Chimera Bane
  3. Farm Ebon Chimera Strike and Volcanic Chimera Strike for Chimeratech weapons
  4. Farm Void Dragons for Void Dragon Hearts for HDT weapons and the Void Bane weapons for unlocking HDT weapons.

Note that some of the Void Dragons may require or be significantly easier with void weapons from other fights (eg. (Water) Scorching Air Res weapons from Obsidian Golem Strike for Void Agni), but for most high base might weapons such as on- or off-element CT2 are sufficient.

Steps 1 and 2 can be skipped if you have Core 5t3 weapons and are playing in co-op.

High Dragon Trials and Agito

Unlocking High Dragon Trials requires first clearing Master difficulty of the dragon in Dragon Trials. Unlocking Agito requires having cleared Standard difficulty of any High Dragon Trial. Standard HDTs can be done in any order though their difficulty varies with the first ones released being the easiest (High Midgardsormr, High Mercury, and High Brunhilda in roughly increasing order of difficulty) and the last ones being the hardest (High Jupiter and High Zodiark).

For Expert and Master difficulties of HDTs, along with Expert difficulties of Agito, there are recommended orders in which to defeat them as each HDT drops materials to craft weapons of their element that are strong against the next High Dragon, and not all the quests of the same difficulty level are equally accessible.

Wind-Water-Flame Triangle

  1. Start in Expert High Midgardsormr with flame Chimeratech Tier 2 weapons, to craft a HDT1 wind weapon
  2. Clear Expert High Mercury with the HDT1 wind weapon and craft a HDT1 water weapon
  3. Clear Expert High Brunhilda with the HDT1 water weapon
  4. Go back and clear Expert High Mercury more to MUB the HDT1 water water weapon
  5. Clear Master High Brunhilda with the MUB HDT1, and farm it and eHBH enough to craft a HDT2 weapon, and then MUB it with Damascus Ingots or duplicates.
  6. (optional) Clear Expert Volk with the MUB HDT2 flame weapon
  7. Clear Master High Midgardsormr with the MUB HDT2 or with a MUB 6* flame weapon from Expert Volk
  8. Clear Master High Mercury with a MUB HDT2 wind weapon

Light-Dark

  1. Start in Expert High Zodiark with a MUB Void Bane weapon or an off-element MUB HDT2 or 6* weapon
  2. Clear Expert High Jupiter with a HDT1 from eHZD
  3. Clear Master High Zodiark with a MUB HDT1 from eHJP
  4. Clear Master High Jupiter with a MUB HDT2 from mHZD

There is another options for Light-Dark now with the release of Light Agito (Kai Yan's Wrath):

  1. Expert High Zodiark
  2. Expert High Jupiter for orbs and tail for Mana Spiral for 70MC shadow units
  3. Expert Kai Yan with 6 Icon Rarity 6.png0ub weapon from Standard first clear rewards to max unbind the 6 Icon Rarity 6.png
  4. Master High Jupiter
  5. Master High Zodiark
