Episode 1

Rawn Hunt Fiends!

Graaaagghhh! Hyaaah! Raaaawwrrr! Hngaaah! Anyone else think these fiends are actin' strange? It's like they're takin' orders or somethin'! I noticed the same! Their movements are so coordinated, they must have a leader somewhere directing— Gah! There's too many of them— Rawn help! No more fiends. Damn... Who's the kid? He's swingin' off the trees like a damn monkey! You hurt? I'm all right, thank you. But what is your name, and why did you decide to help us? Me Rawn. Rawn hunt fiends. A pro fiend hunter, eh? Pretty impressive at yer age. Fiend weak point is neck. Papa told Rawn this. That's welcome information. I shudder to think what we would've done without your help. We were lucky. Not luck. What the—?! Where did all these animals come from?! Critters told Rawn that fiend attack you. Now they get dried fiendmeat as reward! You can talk to animals? No talk. Rawn understand critters' feelings. Critters so fluffy... Rawn like to pet them. Petting make Rawn relax. Huh? What is it? Yes...okay... Rawn understand. Critters say you good people. You're so skilled, I wouldn't think you were still in training. Papa was much better than Rawn. Rawn never be as good as Papa. I should have guessed your father was also a fiend hunter. Rawn not hunter. Papa never tell Rawn training was over. It sounds like he has high standards. As strong as you are, it's hard to believe your training's not complete. Papa hard to please. But that not why he not say Rawn hunter. He...not get chance. Strong, clever fiend kill Papa before he say Rawn hunter. I'm sorry, Rawn. I didn't mean to dig up unhappy memories. No need say sorry. Rawn not sad. Fiend that kill Papa is in this forest. Until Rawn kill that fiend, Rawn not cry. But that fiend very smart. It control other fiends in forest. Wait... Those fiends you saved us from—were they taking orders from it?! Hmm. I don't think our usual approach is going to work here. Let me help you find that fiend. Notte Pleased at All

Interesting. I wonder if he thinks of faeries and animals in the same way? Huh? Notte! Rawn find you! You not like dried meat? Next time Rawn bring fresh meat! So please not hate Rawn! Keep that meat away from me, buddy! I'm not an animal! And why are you moving like that?! Y-you are moving rather strangely... This? Rawn copy Notte! Is THAT what you're doing? I thought you might still be working on dragon moves. Listen, Notte; Rawn means well, so maybe we can all just— I do NOT move like that! That's stupid! YOU'RE stupid! Aaand...there she goes. It always takes her a while to cool off when she's angry. Notte run away again. Did Rawn make mistake? Euden! Listen! Rawn discover something! Notte's moves amazing! Rawn's body feels so light!
