Mikoto S+ Attacker Midgardsormr With his Critical Rate up and High HP = Crit, Mikoto has a whopping 18% increase to his base critical rate. Add his natural high strength and self buffs from his S1 on top of this, and his damage is through the roof. Access to the Blade moveset gives him strong mobility, and good AoE.

Gala Sarisse S+ Attacker None Sarisse is capable of outputting high damage from range by stacking buffs. Each individual stack of Sylvan’s Strength counts for 2 individual buffs, allowing Sarisse to easily reach a x6 or x7 boost on her S1 completely unaided if she’s allowed to attack continuously. She’s also the first character to feature dual ailment immunities, and can excel in all types of content.

Verica S Healer None With two heals and her S1 being an usually potent regen heal (which also heals stun), she’s easily one of the best healers in the game. She has the option of using the Elemental 4* Staff for a 3rd heal, and also has great synergy with Phoenix, leaving her wanting nothing but perhaps Skill Prep.

Karl S Attacker Support Imperial Onslaught High HP = Strength already gives him solid damage output, and he also has a party wide strength buff to further increase the room’s DPS, giving him a high contribution to damage overall in all content. He does even better when he can stack up Slayer’s Strength, which he does with ease thanks to the sweeping AoE of his S1, allowing him to crush Wind IO which he’s optimized for thanks to Sleep Res.

Vanessa S Attacker Midgardsormr With her high strength, two powerful attack skills, and extra force strike damage, she’s a very solid pick for fire DPS, but her ceiling potential is currently held back by the 5* fire axe’s critical damage boost, which is nearly useless without synergy. Regardless, she’s capable of outdamaging those placed below her.

Ezelith A+ Attacker Imperial Onslaught Ezelith is held back by her poor S1, which has an animation that’s so lengthy, it has less DPS than her regular attacks, cutting into her damage potential. However, the stacking defense debuffs from her S2 provide a large source of damage contribution by increasing everyone’s damage overall, and Broken Punisher gives her excellent damage in dragon form during the break.

Aoi A+ Attacker None A solid attack character with two attack skills, access to a 3rd from the 5* fire katana, and Overdrive Punisher to help boost her DPS. Her S1 and S2 have good coverage for hitting multiple targets, which backs up her natural AoE coverage and mobility as a blade user. However, she faces the problems all 3* share with only a single passive, lower BST, and a combined 75% resistance.

Euden A+ Attacker Raid His statline and base skill damage are slightly lower than other 4* characters, but he has decent strength and 2 attack skills, in addition to lowering enemy defense. His S1 has a great AoE for cleaning up small fry, and his Dragon Claws is obscenely powerful specifically for raids as long as the Dragon Prep meta holds, but it’s too slow to be very useful elsewhere.

Xania A+ Attacker Midgardsormr Xania is optimized for a 3* character, with access to multiple attack skills with fast animations, as well as a skill damage passive. She unfortunately lacks access to a good 5* weapon, since the fire wand’s self heal doesn’t help her with her role.

Naveed A Attacker Imperial Onslaught Slayer’s Strength and Sleep Res make Naveed very well prepared for Wind IO, and his base strength is high to boot. However, his S1 isn’t powerful enough to justify monopolizing both of his skill slots. He will eventually reach a solid damage output if the quest drags on long enough, but his ceiling isn’t impressive enough to justify the gimmick, and he underperforms while waiting to build stacks from his S2.

Sinoa A Support None She has a dedicated support kit with very good uptime due to her extra buff time and fast charge rate for a buff skill. While random, her buffs are unusually potent, which helps make up for the inconsistency, but she has a lower average buff contribution to damage output when compared to Elly and even Melody, and her built in inconsistency drops her value slightly.

Renelle B Attacker None Renelle’s strength isn’t great and her ailment resistance is off-element, but, like Melsa, at least she has Flurry Devastation. Having her AoE as her S1 helps. She has a defense debuff, but it’s unlikely to proc.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Melsa B Attacker Imperial Onslaught Her kit doesn’t offer much outside of Flurry Devastation. She’s decent at Fire IO because her circular AoE S2 hits multiple targets easily and her 50% Sleep Res might save her from a mistake.

Alain C Attacker Midgardsormr While having two attack skills is always nice, his innate strength is low and Last Defense is nearly worthless.
Lua error: Error: Table Adventurers not found..
Marty C Attacker Midgardsormr Marty has poor natural strength, flimsy shields, and a nearly useless Skill Haste passive that’s unlikely to actually cause a difference in the number of skill procs over the course of a fight. Thankfully, he has a decent S1 with a large sweeping AoE, and access to attack skills from weapons to help salvage his DPS.

Joe C Attacker Midgardsormr His strength isn’t the worst, and he sometimes adds additional damage through burn, but his chance to burn is low and relies on maintaining full HP to function. He does at least have quick skill animations going for him.

Aurien D Healer Attacker None Tries to be a hybrid healer/damage unit without doing either well. He has awful charge time, damage, and range on his S2, as well as a total lack of support for healing built into his kit. You could slap Phoenix on just about any other fire character and be a more successful hybrid than Aurien.
