Summary
The party finds themselves relieved of their sweets by fiends, and Althemia suggests disguising themselves as those same fiends in order to approach the culprits. The party goes along wit hthis suggestion and heads out to gather materials for their costumes
Dialogue
Apparently there are certain sweet-fanged fiends who attack villages and steal their treats.
And after all the trouble we went to! There's no way we can complete our candy-house centerpiece now.
While it may be a bit more simplistic than initially planned, we can at least complete the rough structure of the house.
Even though it may prove to be a meager sugary abode, we should push on and build it anyway.
A sweet crown jewel that each of us worked together on sounds more than sufficient for this party, does it not?
Using what materials remained, the group resumed construction on the Sweet Retreat.
However...
We've already run far over the alloted schedule as it is.
These Jerks seem to know exactly where and how to strike us — and how to get away clean.
They always bolt before we can even try to mount a counterattack.
I'm TRYING to suggest a plan that the fiends wont be likely to suss out, but you guys are all, "Yap, yap, yap!"
You see, these fiends appear to be quite wary of any nearby humans.
So I thought that if we wore costumes, they might... let down their guard a little?
What's important is that the fiends don't catch on to the fact enemies are nearby.
So to avoind that, we'll make outfits using fiend-pelt cloth and the vegetation that grows near their burrows.
These won't be just any costumes — they'll be costumes that mimic the appearance of fiends!
We'll gather up materials for the outfits before the fiends return.
