Summary
Having taken a shine to both Emile and Euden, Jupiter invites each brother to make for the summit if they would forge a pact with him.
Dialogue
Emile: I am your king, Lightwyrm! Cede your bond to me at once!
Mym: Abso-LUTELY not! Jupiter, you must form your pact with Euden.
Emile: How DARE you, churl?!
Lightwyrm: It's unusual to hear you endorse any human with such vigor, Flamewyrm.
Mym: We are practically married!
Mym: Truly, he's better than you deserve.
Lightwyrm: Yet my interest is more piqued by that one. The prince who so very obviously lacks any talent or grace.
Lightwyrm: Why do you court power, boy?
Emile: Because I have need of it, obviously. Now give it to me at once!
Lightwyrm: Ha ha! How amusing! And since you lack said power, you sought to claim it from me by means of an army?
Lightwyrm: I have heard of worse plans...
Lightwyrm: And you... You have the Flamewyrm's heart already, but what do you ask of me?
Euden: I want you to help me keep this land and its people safe. That's all.
Euden: I fight to reclaim a peaceful kingdom whose citizens can live free of fear.
Euden: But I lack the power alone—I need your strength to see it through to the end!
Lightwyrm: An answer every bit as honest as your brother's. Were it possible, I would seal a pact with the both of you.
Lightwyrm: But alas, I have but one pact to give.
Lightwyrm: Come to the summit, young Princes. I will take your measure there.
Notte: Hey, wait! You can't just run off!
Emile: In that case, I demand you bring me to the summit at once, Euden!
Mym: Is there even one ounce of sense in that scrambled brain of yours?
Emile: I cannot reach the peak by my lonesome.
Emile: If this challenge is to be an honorable one, it stands to reason that my safe passage should be assured.
Luca: Your ego is truly a staggering thing.
Euden: All right. We'll take you along.
Mym: Now I'm questioning YOUR sense, darling!
Euden: The Lightwyrm wants us both to meet him at the summit, right? I think this is all part of the test.
Euden: I can't possibly ask for his loyalty if I'm willing to abandon my own brother to die.
Ranzal: That's some clever thinkin'!
Emile: If we are finished, let's go. ...And see you guard me well! If anything were to befall me, it would plunge the Empire into chaos.
Euden: *sigh* Just try to keep up.
