|Maribelle is Wind's premiere damage dealer. She brings 2 nukes to the fight, with her first skill inflicting 5% Defense Reduction. On top of that, she's got one of the highest Strength stats in the game. Her first passive, Full HP = Skill Damage allows her to hit even harder with her skills. However, this skill is only active at full HP and thus not consistent. She also gets Skill Prep, meaning she can fire off her skills right from the start of the fight.
+
|With Full HP = Skill Damage and 100% Skill Prep, she starts quests very strong and maintains high damage throughout thanks to her high strength. Skill Damage is particularly potent on her since her skills have low charge times and high damage, and she can maintain Full HP = Skill Damage thanks to the self heal ability off of the 5* wind wand.

His passive skills add even more damage through Broken Punisher and Bleed Punisher, but he struggles to maintain uptime on Bleed Punisher until more bleed characters are released for the wind element, which holds him back from even higher heights.

|As a DPS, Musashi excels as his base strength very high for a 4* character, and his kit is built around dealing additional damage through buffs and poison. However, he’s held back because his S2 self buff seriously lacks the potency to make up for it’s minimal 5 second duration, making it not only worse than the average attack skill, but also worse when compared to the self buff skills seen on other blades such as Mikoto, Celliera, and Addis.

|A good support character with a 15% team strength boost as her S1, which boasts a 3000SP charge rate which is faster than other support buffers such as Elly and Sinoa, who need to build up 3800SP. She doesn’t contribute much damage alone, but she can maintain a solid uptime on buffs and make the entire room more powerful. She has good mobility and coverage thanks to the Blade moveset, and has Freeze res to help with Water IO.

|The best healing option available in wind. His kit is coherent and effective, but his healing output isn’t exceptional since he doesn’t have a regen skill. Very reminiscent of Cleo, but with a slightly better S2 and slightly higher recovery potency. Interestingly, when he raises the team’s max HP, his healing on his S1 increases slightly to match.

|A blade wielder focused on raw damage. His first skill is a good nuke and also inflicts Poison for 15 seconds, making it one the highest damage skills in the game. He also has Overdrive Punisher, which is a welcome damage boost since bosses spend a lot of time in overdrive. His second skill is a Strength buff for himself. This Strength buff is the highest in the game at 30%. Unfortunately, the buff lasts relatively short so he struggles to properly utilize the buff. And while Last Offense is a strong buff to his Strength, it can only activate once.
+
|Her entire kit has small increases to damage throughout, whether it’s based on poison or conditional damage buffs. Overdrive Punisher is a welcome source of extra damage, and Strength Doublebuff notably makes her a great match for Lowen and/or Aeleen. As a bow character, she lacks AoE coverage, and her skills only hit in straight lines, so she lacks versatility.

|Archers all inflict a debuff, and Eleonora's no exception: she Poisons her enemies. Unlike most archers, both of her skills will inflict the debuff. The Poison damage can stack up to deal respectable damage over the course of a fight. However, her skills naturally have a high chance of landing Poison so her first passive is not very useful, especially since it is only active at full HP.
+
|Eleonora has good damage potential thanks to her natural strength and skills that inflict poison. Her chance to inflict poison is very high at full HP, and she has access to a 50% Skill Prep for an extra edge to get her skills out before taking damage. However, poison doesn’t stack, which hurts her DPS whenever her skills are ready before the poison wears off.

|Hawk focuses on stunning enemies, and then inflicting bonus damage on stunned targets. However, unlike Eleonora, he stuns enemies through firing buffed Force Strikes after he uses his second skill. While this means he doesn't have a second damaging skill, it does mean he can stun an enemy up to three times. When paired with his first skill and his Stunned Punisher, he does respectable damage. However, his reliance on Stun means that against opponents that cannot be stunned - Mercury, in this case - his damage drops significantly.
+
|His strength is high and his stun based kit has good synergy, but his S1 charges too slowly for him to truly shine. Stun Punisher has extra synergy with Roc and Zephyr, but its use is limited since stuns quickly wear off. His Freeze Res is useful since basilisks in Water IO are incredibly dangerous.

|Wind's best tank - although, there's not much competition for this role. His second skill, an AoE shield, is great utility for him and his team, negating one attack as long as it does not exceed the damage threshold. He also has access to Slayer's Strength which makes him a great unit to clear waves of enemies with due to Ranzal wielding an axe. However, he's got a low Strength stat and due to only having one damaging skill, he gets outclassed by Johanna.
+
|Ranzal excels versus multiple targets thanks to the wide swing of axes and his circular AoE on his S1, which helps him build up stacks of Slayer’s Strength. Against single target content, his damage contribution will be lacking, but his 30% HP Shields are potentially a useful survival tool, albeit inconsistent.

|Aeleen is one of the 2 buff units in wind, buffing Defense. She also gets Buff Time, extending the buff duration by 25%. Unfortunately, a 20% Defense buff is not significant enough to make a difference in a fight. However, Aeleen is also a respectable damage dealer thanks to her Slayer's Strength and low cost first skill.
+
|Johanna’s natural strength is a bit low, and her resistances are a mess, but her skills hit hard and have quick animations allowing her to maintain constant DPS. She’s better versus multiple enemies where she can stack up Slayer’s Strength.

|Sophie is a healer with 1 healing skill and 1 damage skill. While it would have been better if she'd have 2 healing skills, her damage skill lets her clear lesser enemies faster in Imperial Onslaught. She also gets access to a Recovery Potency up on her first passive.

|Where Aeleen buffs Defense, Melody buffs Strength. Her buff increases the team's Strength by 15% for 15 seconds. Thanks to the relatively low SP cost, she can have the buff active most of the time. Although, lack of a Buff Time passive means she has trouble keeping it up permanently. Her second skill has a decent multiplier on it as well. However, her first passive, Full HP = Critical Rate is very unreliable and she doens't benefit as much from the crit as she would have from a Strength buff.
+
|A generally solid choice with Slayer’s Strength and a lengthy 20% defense buff. Unfortunately for her, strength buffs are better, but she pairs well with Louise. Immunity to freeze allows her to excel at Water IO.

|Brings 2 nukes to the fight, the second of which can land a Defense Reduction. Force Strike damage increase is also useful since dagger combos often include Force Strikes in them. However, her skills have low multipliers and her Defense Reduction has a low hit rate. She also has a low Strength stat.

|Philia inflicts Paralysis on her enemies. She has 2 nukes with decent multipliers. However, her first passive, Full HP = Strength, is very unreliable and her passives give her resistance against a status effect not inflicted by any Water enemies.
