|Lin You’s damage is fantastic since her S1 is very powerful, and she has access to the 5* wind axe with its great attack skill and unusually high strength. While her self buff suffers from a below average charge rate, the attack speed buff helps her charge SP faster to compensate, making it possible to get off two boosted S1 hits during the duration of a single S2 if you don’t have to stop to roll. Her damage alone is worthy of praise, and she’s also capable of inflicting 6-7 second sleeps in most wind-advantaged content, giving her strong utility value on top of her damage. Lin You’s capable of equipping Long Long over Zephyr thanks to her high critical rate, but even with an ideal wyrmprint you’d need further increases to critical rate through other sources like co-abilities for the damage to exceed Zephyr’s.

|Addis has great damage output because he inflicts powerful bleeds when you use his S1 during his S2 self buff, and he has multiple passive skills to augment his damage output in Bleed Punisher and Broken Punisher. Addis might not reasonably maintain uptime on Bleed Punisher alone, but nothing stops a co-op room from running multiple Addis on the same team and stacking multiple bleeds for obscene damage.

|Maribelle is basically wind Lily but with some minor differences. Instead of freeze, her first skill inflicts 5% Defense Reduction, which is always welcome. She also has Full HP = Skill Damage, meaning her skills will hit harder than Lily's, however her regular attacks will be somewhat weaker. Skill Prep also means she's ready to fire off her skills as soon as the fight starts. Unfortunately, lacks a way to keep her first passive up.
+
|With Full HP = Skill Damage and 100% Skill Prep, she starts quests very strong. She has great AoE coverage and can help maintain Full HP = Skill Damage thanks to the self heal ability off of the 5* wind wand, but her damage output won’t excel if she can’t maintain it.

|A great support character with a 15% team strength boost as her S1, which boasts a fast enough charge rate to maintain perfect uptime. Due to the value of increasing the damage of the whole team, the total damage she brings to a mission is higher than those ranked below her. She has good mobility and coverage thanks to the Blade moveset, has access to the great 5* wind blade with a good attack skill, and has Freeze res to help with Water IO.

|A blade wielder focused on raw damage. His first skill is a decent nuke and also inflicts Poison, which is some nice extra damage over time, making it one the highest damage skills in the game. He also has Overdrive Punisher, which is a nice extra boost since bosses spend a lot of time in overdrive. However, his first passive is kinda mediocre because it's a 1 time buff.
+
|His base strength very high for a 4* character, he has access to a great attack skill from the 5* wind katana, and his kit adds additional damage through various buffs and poison. However, he’s held back because his S2 self buff seriously lacks the potency to make up for it’s minimal 5 second duration, making it not only worse than the average attack skill, but also worse when compared to the self buff skills seen on other blades such as Mikoto, Celliera, and Addis.

|The best healing option available in wind. His kit is coherent and effective, but his healing output isn’t exceptional since he doesn’t have a regen skill. Very reminiscent of Cleo, but with a better S2 and slightly higher recovery potency. Interestingly, when he raises the team’s max HP, his healing on his S1 increases slightly to match.

|Archers all inflict a debuff, and Eleonora's no exception: she Poisons her enemies. Unlike most archers, both of her skills will inflict the debuff. The Poison damage is actually quite respectable. Unlike Hawk, however, she doesn't get increased damage against afflicted enemies and instead gets Skill Prep as her 3rd ability. Overall a very solid damage dealer and more consistent than Hawk.
+
|Johanna has hard hitting skills with good animation speeds, and the 5* wind axe she has access to is very powerful. Her resistances are a disorganized mess, but her damage output is very good even when it’s not topped off by Slayer’s Strength.

|Hawk's a pretty straightforward guy: He inflicts Stun so he can then capitalize on it. However, he's plagued by the same issues as most bow users: There are bosses who have resistance or are immune to being Stunned. He'd also much rather have his stun be on a nuke, rather than a self-buff which enhances his Force Strikes to stun. Lastly, the stun duration varies between 2 and 4 seconds, making his first skill difficult to properly utilize. He does have a really solid Strength stat, however. Decent unit overall but suffers a lot from being a bow unit, especially since Mercury can't be stunned.
+
|Hawk’s kit is entirely built around stuns, both inflicting them and increasing his damage against stunned enemies. His damage isn’t the highest, but he has good utility value through his stuns and synergizes very well with any Roc or Zephyr in the room which enable him to leverage his extra Stunned Punisher damage in dragon form during the break. He’s well specialized for Water IO since the boss hardly resists stun, and he’s also immune to being frozen. However, his damage output is seriously limited in content with stun immune enemies, such as versus Mercury and raid battles, so he’s not worth using in those fights since he’s entirely dependant on stuns to have any amount of damage or utility value.

|Wind's best tank - although, there's not much competition for this role. His second skill, an AoE shield, is great utility for him and his team, negating one attack as long as it does not exceed the damage threshold. He also gets a defense up on the 4* weapon and Slayer's Strength to patch up his low attack, however in the end he's still mainly a tank. Being a free unit also doesn't help him either.
+
|Ranzal excels versus multiple targets thanks to the wide swing of axes and his circular AoE on his S1, which helps him build up stacks of Slayer’s Strength. Against single target content, his damage contribution will be lower, but his 30% HP Shields are potentially a useful survival tool for blocking damage and ailments, albeit inconsistent.

|Aeleen's like wind Elisanne, except that she buffs Defense instead of Strength. Her buff strength, duration and first passive are the same as Elisanne. However, her buff takes about 2.5x as long to charge, making it hard to keep it up permanently. Defense up is also less valuable than Strength. That said, it does trigger Valiant Crown. Aeleen's also capable of dishing out more damage than Elisanne, but ultimately that isn't why you would run a buffer. Overall, solid unit but would've loved a Strength buff instead of a Defense buff.
+
|Louise can output good damage in ideal circumstances, but she’s reliant on conditional damage buffs that need good team support. She can’t trigger her own Strength Doublebuff, relying on either Lowen or Aeleen to help, and she alone can’t consistently maintain poison to increase the damage of her S2, which does extra damage to poisoned enemies. She mostly excels versus Mercury, where attacking from range is a more pronounced advantage than usual.

|Ku Hai is too clunky to work effectively, since he lacks a high critical rate to get good value from his two critical damage passives, and the alternate force strike granted by his S2 is sluggish and doesn’t consistently apply all three hits. It’s difficult to credit the alternate force strike for its apparent increase in mobility since it tends to miss hits at close range by passing through targets, it’s inefficient to spend time positioning yourself to ensure all three hits connect, and it also knocks down small enemies which negates potential follow up attacks. Ku Hai’s damage output is actually higher if he ignores his S2, despite its crit buff, and focuses on using the default force strike from the sword moveset by chaining three attacks into force strike repeatedly, since the default force strike is quicker and can easily chain back into regular attacks afterwards. To add insult to injury, Ku Hai has poor choice of weaponry, as both the 4* and 5* wind swords have low-impact defensive skills that don’t help him output damage. Despite the failings of Ku Hai’s alternate force strike in most content, it shines in raids, since he’ll always connect all three times and can reposition with it.

|Su Fang lacks ailment resistance and his damage output is a bit lacking, while the 20% Skill Damage and attack skill from the 5* wind dagger appear to be great boosts to his damage output  his S1’s base damage is extremely weak and daggers in general are currently underpowered. However, he does have useful utility value through stun, since his S1 can apply a 5-6 second stun while his S2 is active. While his partial bog resistance would be potentially useful versus Mercury, he can’t apply stun in that fight, so he has some trouble finding a niche in current content.

|A healer with a damage skill for some unknown reason - and one with a high SP cost at that. The 4* weapon is okay on her, giving her a Strength buff, but you would just run a damage dealer if you wanted damage. At least her first passive is actually good for a healer, and she faces no competition in Wind as she's the only Wind healer
+
|Eleonora is built around constantly inflicting poison, which is underwhelming since multiple poisons do not stack. Because of this, her DPS isn’t good, and her skills lack AoE to compensate. However, her bog immunity and ability to output damage from range at least make her well set up to face Mercury.

+
|A generally solid choice for Water IO thanks to her immunity to freeze as well as Slayer’s Strength. Unfortunately her damage is on the low end due to her lack of attack skills, but she is a good pair for doublebuff characters like Louise since she has a team-wide defense buff..

|Decent Strength stat, 2 nukes and a Stun on his second nuke. Good mix of damage and utility, however has to compete with a lot of units for the same role who are ultimately better than him.
+
|His damage is okay and he has a chance at stunning enemies with his S2, but the stun lacks duration, and he doesn’t have strong passives or damage skills from elemental weapons to increase his damage.
