Summary

Elisanne, Edward, and Althemia all dress up as vampires, which allows them to defeat the fiends that attacked the Halidom. Curious as to their attackers' motives, the party heads out into the surrounding environs in search of answers.

Dialogue

Wooo! We got everything we needed for the costumes. Easy peasy, right?

We got, what? Enough to make costumes for maybe three people?

Yes, and I imagine Althemia should be finishing them up about now. She said she chould be finished with them some time around noon, master. Plus, we found some'a them stolen treats while we were out there! That's a fine piece'a luck if ya ask me.

If we keep gettin' 'em back like that, our little Sweet Retreat will be sittin' pretty.

Come, everyone. Let us review the plan.

First, Althemia Edward and I will approach the fiends while in costumes.
Then we will drive them to the location where Euden's team has prepared an ambush.

Then we just have to finish them off. Any questions? Sounds good! I... I've finished the costumes. Thank you, Althemia. We will get changed at once. Hmm... Interesting. These appear to be patterned after vampires. The fiends from legend who survived by drinking human blood? I remember reading about them when I was young. Hold up a sec there, Jeeves. You use blades? But of course. Any butler worth his salt can use myriad weapons.

Still, I must say, equipping a blade certainly does get my blood pumping.

Additionally, blades make much better correctional tools than staves when it comes to dealing with time wasters.

Althemia's costume proved their worth, and the group took out the fiends one after the other.

You guys were GREAT! I don't think you let even a single one escape. These costumes were a big help, too. Of course they were a big help — they were made by ME, after all!

M-more importantly, now that we've driven off the fiends, this is our chance.
We must determine why they continue to swarm the castle.
