Ranzal. This is Euden. Hold on—the man who lives in the castle? PRINCE Euden? One and the same. May I ask your name? Oh, where are my manners? I am Julietta, a Paladyn. My Paladyn father bade me find you and join your cause. If you'll have me, of course. Absolutely! We could definitely use someone of your skill. ...Is that it? No tears of joy? No falling to your knees in thanks that such a powerful Paladyn would align herself to— Graaaaggghhhhh! Aaaahhhh! D-did you hear that?! More fiends. Looks like ya missed a few. But yer strong enough on yer own, so ya probably don't need our help takin' 'em down. We'll just be goin', then. H-hold on just a moment! I...I can't leave you to fend for yourselves! She takes it for granted that she should prove herself directly rather than rely on her past reputation. I foresee a bright future ahead of her. I can't believe Elly actually knows who I am! Now that the battle is won, I'm going back to the castle to clean off all this blood. ...... Elly— I mean, Elisanne! What is it? That was a splendid fight, Julietta. I hope you will fight by our side for a long while. That...that is all I wished to say. You... You needn't have wasted your breath. That has always been my intention. Now, if you'll excuse me... Huh? She looks pale... Owwww, ow ow ow... Julietta? What's wrong? Are you injured? Prince Euden... Why are you here...? Owww... Your face told me something might be wrong. If you're hurt, I can get Cleo to come and heal you— W-wait! Don't call anyone over! It...it's only a stomachache... Are you sure? I'll be all right... Stress always wreaks havoc on my stomach... Julietta! Where are you going? I can handle that pack on my own! I'll draw them away from you! Wait! Not even you are strong enough to handle that many on your own! If you're so worried, dispatch those other fiends quickly and come help me! Though there may not be much left for you to do by then! Graaaggghhh! If you want a shot at Elly, you have to go through me first! *pant* *pant* Good... We made it... I think we've defeated all the fiends in this area! Only the pack Julietta took on remains! In Spite of Fear

You can stay in the castle if you're scared. Wh-who said I was scared?! I mean... I am, but just a tiny bit! S-still, you can't just leave me here... It makes me feel so...so useless... What happened to the girl what never even blinked before chargin' into danger? She broke down in sobs before her peers, that's what. One doesn't recover from that. I still can't wrap my head around it. How can someone as strong as you actually be scared'a fiends? To think you harbored such fear and still drew that pack of fiends away by yourself... That surprised even me. But I could think only of protecting Elly... And yet, in the end, I only managed to break down and cause more trouble. Nonsense. Fighting so hard to protect us, despite being scared, was incredibly brave. His Highness is right. And besides, everyone is scared of battling fiends. What? Even you, Elly? ＂Elly＂? That is not... Ahem. Yes. Even me. And me. There hasn't been a single battle I've fought where fear hasn't played a part. If anything, it seems you both act more recklessly the more frightened you are. I... Uh, well, that's because sometimes you have to act in spite of your fear. Right, Julietta? R-right... Certainly! Honestly... I wish you would at least give some thought to the trouble your actions cause those who have to watch your back. Ha ha! I do, I swear! Um... Prince Euden?
