Dane, otherwise known as Emperor Dane, was a major figure in the history of Grastaea between the First and Second Wars of Binding.

Early Life and Encounter with Jupiter

In his early years, Dane was prince of a small kingdom in South Grastaea.

One day he encountered the Lightwyrm, Jupiter, who applauded the prince's humility compared to the royal families of other kingdoms. Jupiter then allowed Dane to ride him and showed him the beauty of Grastaea's skies. Dane was amazed by what he saw, however Jupiter refused to show him the skies again, unless Dane were to conquer the land, see its wonders, and find a way back to the skies himself. The experience instilled a dream within Dane, as well as ample ambition to see it done.
