Tier List/yiran

This is a tier list that should be viewed as an investment guide for new players. Metrics taken into account include strength of adventurers at High Dragon Trials, at Agito Uprising battles, at other content (Mercurial Gauntlet, Story, Raids, Challenge Battles), and whether the character is replacable/vulenerable to powercreep. These four metrics have roughly equal weight. Specific scoring and points can be found here.

Here is a brief overview of what each tier means. These descriptions may not apply to every single adventurer, but can be used as a general guide. If you want to check up a specific adventurer's reason for being in a rank, please check the scoring document linked above. Endgame content is defined as Master High Dragon Trials, Expert Agito, and Mercurial Gauntlet 51+.

	Description of Tier
S+	Characters who are not only excellent for all the endgame content in their element, but also that they are able to facilitate cross element clears in endgame content.
S	Characters who very strong and excellent for endgame content (in their element), or they may be only viable for content in their element (not excellent) but facilitate cross element clears in end game content.
A	Characters who are strong and viable for endgame content. They are able to clear the fights with little difficulty, and have no problems finding rooms to play in.
B	Characters who are able to clear endgame content well but not optimally, whether because they do not provide what the fight needs, conflict with a necessary character, or because they are simply lower impact than A tier characters. They may have a little difficulty in finding rooms.
C	Characters who are still able to clear endgame content but are beginning to struggle more, usually due to lackluster dps making the fights last longer and therefore more opportunity for mistakes. They may have trouble finding rooms.
D	Characters who not strong enough to be considered helpful for endgame content. They may still contribute in their own way, but may require special setup, such as being overgeared or having specific wyrmprints. Some characters in this tier have respectable dps and kits but have the wrong resistance. They will have trouble finding rooms.
E	Characters who are weak. They do not help clear in endgame content, but there is something in their kits that can still provide something of use in other content.
F	Characters who are very weak. They have low dps and/or kits that barely even help in regular content.

The adventurers are ordered within each tier, according to point total in the link above, though there may be ties.

Description

Below are justifications of the placing of certain high-tier adventurers that are not easily followable from their dps or resistances. Specific placings outside of their rankings on the dps sim will be noted, such the fact that the dps sim does not take into account break damage or the need to dodge skills.

The reason why two ailment skills is considered a big plus is because if only one adventurer can inflict the affliction with only one skill, missing one skill causes a huge loss in the punisher value.

Element	Description
	Halloween Lowen is placed high due to his universal utility in non-endgame content of any element, both for his healing output, HP buffs, or proccing doublebuffs. He is also necessary in regular clears of eVolk. Xania is the highest DPS unit with burn on two skills, and makes targetting for tornados in eVolk simple. Stun res means she has better viability for both Volk and HMS. HMS requires only one baiter and she is the most viable ranged DPS option. Although Hunter Berserker's DPS is considerable, the static nature of his force strikes significantly impedes his DPS in fights where he has to dodge and/or i-frame and also makes him unsuitable as a baiter role/causes him to steal bait. Although Gala Mym's DPS is considerable, it is mainly due to her chain coability which she can just apply to another adventurer with higher base dps who can also take advantage of Mars' better dragon form than Mym's forced Brunhilda transformation. Although she does transform more quickly, the worse dragon form is still a hindrance.
	Stacking Pipple on top of himself with the appropriate prints allows for safe clears of HBH with faster speed compared to Gelly/2dps/Healer. The composition is still slower than 4 Fjorm or Shadow with Grace, however. Elisanne is not the prime candidate for HBH, but her extreme usefulness in MG and moderate usefulness in other content, as well as likely incoming spiral, makes her a good investment. Despite Fjorm's ability in enabling quick and safe mHBH clears, that is likely the only content she will be useful in, depending on the Fire Agito battle. Since the materials from HBH are mostly obsolete, this lowers her usefulness as an investment.
	Hawk's ability to stun opening blasts of Master High Dragons as well as his top DPS post Wind mana spirals puts him firmly at the top. Despite Noelle being strictly inferior to Tobias in buff time and ability to poison, Noelle's buff isn't too much worse, has better i-framing in the form of S2, and allows the DPS characters to hug Mercury while she baits. Do note that she requires Tobias's coability to reach similar buffs, othewise she loses out by quite a lot. Thus one may argue that if you have Tobias with maxed coability, it is better to build him anyway. Healers are being phased out of eCiella as people become used to 4DPS with buffer Freyja compositions, and they have never been used in HMC anyway. Templar Hope is integral in solo auto eCiella, but that is the only content he is useful for.
	No special justifications at this moment.
	Grace is not part of the speed clears of mHJP or eKai, but her ability to enable solo auto eKai, solo auto eCiella, solo mHDTs, usefulness in MG, and usefulness in general content make her a very good investment. Be advised you do need a high DPS character to take advantage of her shields and affliction bypass. Delphi has lower dps than Vice and many other poisoners, but he is the highest DPS adventurer with poison on two skills. His def down and str down are useful as support, and his DPS is understated since he loses very little DPS while dodging since his skills auto-charge.
