- In Roman mythology, Mars was the god of war as a means of attaining peace(this is factually incorrect, the god Mars was just as much a war god as Ares, the only difference being an emphasis that war was the lifeblood of the Roman Empire and was to be sought out to further the survival and expansion of said empire). The Dragalia Lost interpretation of Mars is more savage and destructive, similar to Mars' Greek predecessor Ares.
