Summary

On their way back to the royal city, the prince and friends learn Alberia has been reborn as the Dyrenell Empire. The prince has been named traitor by the king—now the emperor—and has no choice but to flee his pursuers.

Dialogue

After resting at King Alberius's castle, the Halidom, and letting my wounds heal, I set off with the others for the royal city. Though the mist had cleared, the road was long. We passed through the Halidom's postern and followed along Myriage Lake. The imposter who took Zethia and the Shard would not leave my mind. Who WAS he? I was certain my real father back at the royal city knew the answer—and that he would help us get Zethia and the Shard back.

Blegh... Finally! We've nearly made it back to the royal city. We have to hurry. Every moment we delay is a moment Zethia suffers. Hold up. We got soldiers incoming.
