Summary

The prince and friends try to take advantage of their positional advantage in the Mistholt, but Chelle anticipates the action. Hoping to rally, the party targets Chelle's command post directly, but she sees through this tactic as well and turns the tables yet another time.

Over here, guys! The imperials shouldn't know about this path—we'll take it and link up with the boss. R-Ranzal! Look! Hold it, rebels! What the hell? They cut around us! How'd they even know about this path?! Now, men! Offer up your very lives for the glory of our lord! Get ready, everyone! These Phobos units ain't no joke, so fight hard or get dead!

More ill news, Highness. I fear the soldiers we left behind to mount an ambush have instead become victims OF an ambush. Them Phobos guys are here, too. They just kicked our tails all around the battlefield—we barely got out alive. They move as if they know every inch of the forest, yet I cannot fathom they've had the opportunity to conduct reconnaissance. It's got to be Chelle. She probably had the Mistholt thoroughly canvassed. With those "cats" of hers, yeah? Well, it's just one piece'a bad news after the other. So what's the plan, boss? There's gotta be some way outta this. We need to stop my brother and sister from coordinating their forces. Yes. They seem to be operating independently at present; we would do well to exploit that. Alex, do you have any idea where Chelle's command post is? It is located near the Mistholt's edge. And Leonidas's forces are currently tromping THROUGH the Mistholt... Okay, here's the plan: Our main force will hit Chelle's army and draw the bulk of it into the woods. A bold plan—if a terrifically risky one. I know it's dangerous, and I'm sorry. If I saw any other way, I would take it. You can apologize if we all end up dead. It ain't needed now. Hell, we've faced crap odds like this from day one, and we always come out on top! Chelle, it appurrs the army of the seventh scion has altered its movements. Yes, it seems my little brother has taken a VERY sudden interest in me. And while I applaud the intention, does he truly think he can handle me? He's clearly trying to weave through the gap between your army and Leonidas's. Perhaps he assumes my brother and I are not coordinating our movements. It is tiresome to be underestimated so. I must make him realize his folly! Advance our forces. Bring our main army closer to Leonidas. You want us to move CLOSER to the purrince's army? Isn't that risky? Only if you assume my brother and I are incapable of working together— which, I assure you, is not the case. Chanzelia and Valkaheim have faced mutual enemies countless times. And if my dear little brother believes he can so easily sow chaos in our ranks, the battle will be over before it can begin.
