|With Full HP = Skill Damage and 100% Skill Prep, she starts quests very strong and maintains high damage throughout thanks to her high strength. Skill Damage is particularly potent on her since her skills have low charge times and high damage, and she can maintain Full HP = Skill Damage thanks to the self heal ability off of the 5* wind wand.

|Lin You’s damage is fantastic since her S1 is very powerful, and she has access to the 5* wind axe with its great attack skill and unusually high strength. While her self buff suffers from a below average charge rate, the attack speed buff helps her charge SP faster to compensate, making it possible to get off two boosted S1 hits during the duration of a single S2 if you don’t have to stop to roll. Her damage alone is worthy of praise, and she’s also capable of inflicting 6-7 second sleeps in most wind-advantaged content, giving her strong utility value on top of her damage. Lin You’s capable of equipping Long Long over Zephyr thanks to her high critical rate, but even with an ideal wyrmprint you’d need further increases to critical rate through other sources like co-abilities for the damage to exceed Zephyr’s.

|Addis boasts the highest strength among 4* units, and further augments his damage potential with the chance to inflict potent bleeds while his S2 is active. His passive skills add even more damage through Broken Punisher and Bleed Punisher, but he struggles to maintain uptime on Bleed Punisher until more bleed characters are released for the wind element, which holds him back from even higher heights.
+
|Addis has great damage output because he inflicts powerful bleeds when you use his S1 during his S2 self buff, and he has multiple passive skills to augment his damage output in Bleed Punisher and Broken Punisher. Addis might not reasonably maintain uptime on Bleed Punisher alone, but nothing stops a co-op room from running multiple Addis on the same team and stacking multiple bleeds for obscene damage.

|As a DPS, Musashi excels as his base strength very high for a 4* character, and his kit is built around dealing additional damage through buffs and poison. However, he’s held back because his S2 self buff seriously lacks the potency to make up for it’s minimal 5 second duration, making it not only worse than the average attack skill, but also worse when compared to the self buff skills seen on other blades such as Mikoto, Celliera, and Addis.

|A good support character with a 15% team strength boost as her S1, which boasts a 3000SP charge rate which is faster than other support buffers such as Elly and Sinoa, who need to build up 3800SP. She doesn’t contribute much damage alone, but she can maintain a solid uptime on buffs and make the entire room more powerful. She has good mobility and coverage thanks to the Blade moveset, and has Freeze res to help with Water IO.

Due to the value of increasing the damage of the whole team, the total damage she brings to a mission is higher than those ranked below her. |Her entire kit has small increases to damage throughout, whether it’s based on poison or conditional damage buffs. Overdrive Punisher is a welcome source of extra damage, and Strength Doublebuff notably makes her a great match for Lowen and/or Aeleen. As a bow character, she lacks AoE coverage, and her skills only hit in straight lines, so she lacks versatility.

|Eleonora has good damage potential thanks to her natural strength and skills that inflict poison. Her chance to inflict poison is very high at full HP, and she has access to a 50% Skill Prep for an extra edge to get her skills out before taking damage. However, poison doesn’t stack, which hurts her DPS whenever her skills are ready before the poison wears off.

|His strength is high and his stun based kit has good synergy, but his S1 charges too slowly for him to truly shine. Stun Punisher has extra synergy with Roc and Zephyr, but its use is limited since stuns quickly wear off. His Freeze Res is useful since basilisks in Water IO are incredibly dangerous.
+
|Hawk’s kit is entirely built around stuns, both inflicting them and increasing his damage against stunned enemies. His damage isn’t the highest, but he has good utility value through his stuns and synergizes very well with any Roc or Zephyr in the room which enable him to leverage his extra Stunned Punisher damage in dragon form during the break. He’s well specialized for Water IO since the boss hardly resists stun, and he’s also immune to being frozen. However, his damage output is seriously limited in content with stun immune enemies, such as versus Mercury and raid battles, so he’s not worth using in those fights since he’s entirely dependant on stuns to have any amount of damage or utility value.

|Ranzal excels versus multiple targets thanks to the wide swing of axes and his circular AoE on his S1, which helps him build up stacks of Slayer’s Strength. |Johanna’s natural strength is a bit low, and her resistances are a mess, but her skills hit hard and have quick animations allowing her to maintain constant DPS. She’s better versus multiple enemies where she can stack up Slayer’s Strength.
+
|Louise can output good damage in ideal circumstances, but she’s reliant on conditional damage buffs that need good team support. She can’t trigger her own Strength Doublebuff, relying on either Lowen or Aeleen to help, and she alone can’t consistently maintain poison to increase the damage of her S2, which does extra damage to poisoned enemies. She mostly excels versus Mercury, where attacking from range is a more pronounced advantage than usual.

|Ku Hai is too clunky to work effectively, since he lacks a high critical rate to get good value from his two critical damage passives, and the alternate force strike granted by his S2 is sluggish and doesn’t consistently apply all three hits. It’s difficult to credit the alternate force strike for its apparent increase in mobility since it tends to miss hits at close range by passing through targets, it’s inefficient to spend time positioning yourself to ensure all three hits connect, and it also knocks down small enemies which negates potential follow up attacks. Ku Hai’s damage output is actually higher if he ignores his S2, despite its crit buff, and focuses on using the default force strike from the sword moveset by chaining three attacks into force strike repeatedly, since the default force strike is quicker and can easily chain back into regular attacks afterwards. To add insult to injury, Ku Hai has poor choice of weaponry, as both the 4* and 5* wind swords have low-impact defensive skills that don’t help him output damage. Despite the failings of Ku Hai’s alternate force strike in most content, it shines in raids, since he’ll always connect all three times and can reposition with it.

|Su Fang lacks ailment resistance and his damage output is a bit lacking, while the 20% Skill Damage and attack skill from the 5* wind dagger appear to be great boosts to his damage output  his S1’s base damage is extremely weak and daggers in general are currently underpowered. However, he does have useful utility value through stun, since his S1 can apply a 5-6 second stun while his S2 is active. While his partial bog resistance would be potentially useful versus Mercury, he can’t apply stun in that fight, so he has some trouble finding a niche in current content.
