Julietta | S+ | Tank Attacker | Imperial Onslaught | Light's premiere tank. Has the highest HP stat in the game, as well as 50% Defense buff and access to Last Recovery which heals her for a good amount if she drops below 30% hp. Julietta's defense buff is high enough that it has a significant impact on the damage she takes, unlike many other defense buffs. She also does decent amounts of damage thanks to Axe attack multipliers and her first passive, Slayer's Strength. She can utilize Valiant Crown with her Defense buff to dish out some good damage. However, in fights without adds, she doesn't get to stack her attack. She also has no self-sustain outside of her Last Recovery which can only activate once per fight. |

Hildegarde | S+ | Healer | Zodiark | Hildegard firmly has her position as a S+ ranked healer. Being one of the few Healers with 2 healing skills already puts her on the top of the list. Additionally, her second skill has an in-built on-hit Barrier effect, which has more utility than simply negating damage, as it can also prevent knockbacks and block status effects. On top of that, her passives work really well for her. 100% Skill Prep lets her start healing right out the gate, and her HP 70 = Healing increases her healing by 15% when she is above 70% HP, which is not difficult to maintain with Hildegarde having a lot of healing. Her firts skill also removes the Cursed affliction making her a great unit for Zodiark. |

Halloween Elisanne | S+ | Attacker Support | Zodiark | Healing, buffs and damage all in one. H.Elissane is a true jack of all trades, but she also does all of her trades really well. Her first skill is on a pretty low cooldown, and cycles through three versions; one of which is a regular nuke, one with a teamwide Strength buff and one with an team-wide heal. Her second skill accelerates her SP gain as well, allowing her to cycle through her first skill faster. Her first passive, 30% skill damage, pairs nicely with her 2 nukes, and her third passive depletes overdrive faster which is also very valuable, since bosses do 20% more damage while in overdrive. However, her regular version is better for flat out buffing, and Hildegarde is still a better healer. |

Ryozen | C | Tank Support | None | Ryozen also takes on the role of a tank, but unlike Julietta, he also has team utility. His first buff raises the team's defense by 25%. He also has healing doublebuff, allowing him to sustain himself with his own defense buff. He also gets Overdrive Punisher which helps him make up for his low Strength stat. Unfortunately, in the current content there is very little need for a defense buff, and Ryozen's damage output is low compared to other Light units. |

Amane | A+ | Attacker | Zodiark | Amane is interesting. She's pretty self-sufficient, being able to both buff herself and increase/restore her HP with her second skill. She also comes with Skill Prep, meaning she can start stacking her second skill from the start. Broken Punisher is nice, although a more consistent buff would have been preferred. Her second skill also takes a while to charge up. Overall, solid self-sufficient mage although she would've liked a lower cooldown on her self-buff |

Rawn | A | Attacker Support | Imperial Onslaught | Another archer. Rawn Stuns and reduces enemy Attack, and he has Stunned Punisher to follow up on his own Stuns. He also gets a stacking Strength buff with Striker's Strength, although this can be difficult to utilize due to how bow Force Strikes work. Zodiark is also immune to his stun, making him less useful in the Dragon fight. Overall a good utility unit but suffers from the status resistances on bosses like many other bow units. Being a bow unit also means he has a harder time clearing waves of enemies. |

Luca | B | Attacker Support | Zodiark | Luca is very similar to Rawn. However, where Rawn's kit favours the Imperial Onslaught, Luca's kit favours the Zodiark Trials instead. While they both get passiives that increase their Strength, Luca's is harder to maintain. He also doesn't get a Punisher-type passive to benefit from his paralysis debuff, while Rawn does. Although Luca does have a niche for Zodiark, Rawn generally outclasses Luca. |

Halloween Edward | A+ | Attacker | Zodiark | Surprisingly high Strength stat as well as 2 nukes with respectable damage. Halloween Edward is one of the few pure damage characters in light. However, even with his second ability having lifesteal, his first passive is very unreliable. |

Halloween Althemia | A | Healer Attacker | Zodiark | H.Althemia might not look like a good healer, but she at least performs better than some others do.
The main point being is her 2nd skill being an offensive skill rather than another heal. Although an offensive skill is not ideal on a healer, it still has its utility to a certain extend, as it enables you to possibly kill the boss or smaller monsters faster, which will prevent the damage those would have dealt or help with the overall fight. Her Full HP = Strength passive might be hard to keep up, but also helps or enables her to kill off the adds with her second skill. Additionally her passive of 75% skill prep also helps her out, as the SP costs are rather high. |

Malora | B | Support Attacker | Imperial Onslaught | The only archer who reduces Defense, which means that there's no boss that resists her status effect. She's the only Light unit with Defense Reduction which makes her a good utility unit. However, despite having two skills that deal damage, she's got a low Strength stat and her second skill, which has the Defense Reduction, takes a while to charge up. Her passive, Overdrive Punisher, is also not a reliable passive to increase her damage. |

Irfan | C | Support Attacker | Zodiark | Irfan gets 2 nukes, one of which has a Strength Reduction. He also has acces to Strength Doublebuff. But, he has no way to activate this doublebuff by himself, and team-wide Defense buffs are rare. His multipliers and Strength are also low, and Rawn is a better choice for a unit with Strength Reduction. |

Hope | C | Healer | None | Although he has a passive that increases his healing, he only has one healing skill. The other skill slot is a team-wide Defense buff. While initially, this may seem useful on a healer, the problem with the Defense buff is that the buff is too low to have a meaningful impact. A second heal would mitigate more damage than a Defense buff. |

Estelle | A | Healer | Zodiark | Estelle has access to 2 healing abilities, which makes her a solid choice for a healer. However, unlike Hildegarde, she lacks a good team-wide burst heal. Her team heal is one her second ability slot, meaning it has a high SP cost. Her other heal charges quickly for healing skills, however is only single-target. Her Force Strike passive is helpful for her, being able to get enemies in Break mode faster, but as a healer she'd rather have a different passive that would increase her healing. |

Linus | B | Attacker | None | Linus is an axe unit with access to two nukes. However, his low Strength and underwhelming passive hamper him in his damage. |

Malka | C | Support | Imperial Onslaught | 10% team-wide Strength buff is nice to have, but it's difficult to get merit out of this over an actual damaging ability due to the fact that 10% is a relatively low buff. He also struggles to keep the buff active a lot, since it takes a relatively long to charge and Malka has no Buff Time extension. His passive is also really bad. |

Raemond | A | Attacker Support | Imperial Onslaught | Has 2 nukes and a decent Strength stat. His first skill stuns and is on a relatively low cooldown, meaning he can spam stuns on the bosses he's fighting. However, he's held back by his passive, Last Defense, which is very lackluster. |
