{{ST|Marth}} I cannot state for certain that my purpose here is to aid in your quest. But I promise you this: For so long as I AM here, I will do all I can to help you.

{{ST|Marth}} My apologies. I did not mean to stare. I simply cannot help but be fascinated every time I see you shapeshift. It reminds me of the Manaketes—a race of dragon-people from my world who possess a similar power.

{{ST|Marth}} Indeed it does. They have the ability to seal away their draconic power and assume human form. It is much like your shapeshifting, except in reverse.
{{ST|Euden}} I think we just found another unexpected similarity.
{{ST|Marth}} Might you tell me a little more about shapeshifting? It looks to me like a power which allows humans to become dragons, no?
{{ST|Euden}} It's a bit more complicated than that. Shapeshifting is a power born from the trust between a human and a dragon. It's an ability passed down through the dragonblood of the Alberian royal family. With it, we can form pacts with dragons and receive their assistance.
{{ST|Marth}} Fascinating... So humans and dragons live in harmony here in Alberia?
{{ST|Euden}} Er, for the most part, yes. Is that not the case in your world?
{{ST|Marth}} No. My sworn enemy was a Manakete. He was the emperor of a dragon tribe that tried to rule over humanity. Not all Manaketes are my enemies, of course—some even lent me their strength. But I fear a great many stood against me as well.
{{ST|Euden}} I see.
{{ST|Marth}} So you understand why I find the concept of humans and dragons coexisting to be a bit... Well, strange. It also makes me question some of my past actions. I fought dragons to return peace to the kingdom, but now I wonder if there was perhaps another path.
{{ST|Euden}} I'm sure you were only doing what you thought was right. If something similar was to happen in Alberia, I would fight whoever I had to in order to save it. People who live in shackles will never know happiness.
{{ST|Marth}} I could not agree more.
{{ST|Euden}} Dragons may be revered in my world, but that doesn't mean there will never be an evil one. So I will fight them if I have to, and I will right whatever wrongs they may end up committing. That is the duty of all who carry the dragon bloodline.

{{ST|Euden}} Oh, believe me, I have more than my own share of problems. My friends are always telling me I'm too soft, for one.
{{ST|Marth}} Ha ha! A flaw I share. I was always being told that one needs more than ideals and pleasantries to win a fight. I once got in a great deal of trouble for acting as a decoy because I didn't want to force that burden on a friend.
{{ST|Euden}} And I'm always being told that I fight far too close to the front lines for a prince and commander.
{{ST|Marth}} Still, if something can be done to reduce the number of casualties in battle, why would you not do it? And not just friends—I have no desire to see blood spilled on either side.
